Forest fans' views wanted for National Fans Survey

FSF

A. Trialist
The Football Supporters' Federation has produced its first National Supporters' Survey this summer. We're looking to get a snapshot on fans' views on all facets of the game. Launched on 1st July we've already had close to 2,000 respondents - we'll be running this through the summer to the beginning of the season, which should make it one of the largest fans' surveys ever conducted.

It doesn't matter if you attend 50 games a season, 5, or none, we want to know what you think.

The survey touches on TV scheduling, ticket pricing, policing, and other matchday experiences.

Get along to http://tinyurl.com/l9v2vw and give us 10 minutes of your time to let us know what you think about the state of the game today.

Thanks,

The FSF.

poorly scripted questions, but done it.

The problem with questionaires in this format only produce high, lows and average scores and without any free space to allow unscripted information and therefore without anecdotal comments it's very diffucult to really understand the issues it is tackling.

For instance, too much money in the game? To amount of money in the game is not the problem, it's how it is distributed which is the problem; for example £10m for top four prem finish, £4.5m for mid-table finish.

Also, an £80m transfer for a player is fantastic for the game. It values a players value to the transfering club, his talent and in recognition of his commercial value moving forward.

Furthermore, this money generates Inland Revenue and allows continued investment in the game from the selling club.

And finally, a player earning £100k a week generates a substantial NI and PAYE charges; and not discounting the extra disposable income that the player can now invest and spend in their local community for example bars, restaurants, shopping...local charities also benefit in the area close to the club and the players home.

Economies thrive and survive when cash is in abundance.

Spend, spend, spend.

Amen to that observation.
