Forest fans at Glasto

just flicked on Glasto(BBC3), and just caught sight of 2 forest flags!!
I also remeber seeing a Forest Flag in world cup 2002 korea- more proof we have great support!

Always nice to see reds knocking about.

It may well be just because I notice them more, but I do tend to see loads of Forest fans abroad, at Alton Towers or anywhere out and about. It's no great surprise to see a Forest flag at the World Cup though is it me owd, every teams got one, or several!

there were also loads at leeds fest last year camping near me and when walking back from the main area on the saturday just after our watford game had finished i overheard some people discussing the score so jumped in on the convo to find it out haha, i always see plenty when i go away anywhere lol

You do get reds fans everywhere! I met two in New Zealand a couple of years ago! Well one was an elderly couple from Arnold, but I was talking to them about WB and Forest. They had been living out there for a few years and said "It's always nice to see that shirt about!"

When I went to the Ashes out here at Christmas 06. There was a Barmy Army Barbecue in Melbourne on Christmas day and I reckon I saw more Forest shirts than any other team.

I just watched my recording of last night's Glasto. During Springsteen there were three seperate Forest flags flying high and centre. There was also Wolves, Saints, Hull, Stoke and Pompey.

There were many Forest Supporters walking around Glastonbury. I met a forest fan, who I remember seeing at Reading away, she was wearing the red cowboy hats.

But talking to loads over the weekend as well.

I went down to Glasto with a friend of a friend who is a Wednesday fan. We were having some banter on the way down who is the bigger club etc etc. We ended having a small bet for a tenner on how many shirts we will see of our respected teams. (Flags were a bonus ! Two Reds flags was fantastic, met both of the lads, top blokes too).

We saw two Wednesday shirts and Six Forest shirts over the five days we were there, not including mine. I wore mine on the Thursday and had a number of fellow Reds say hello and 'YOU REDS!" chants.

I was up the Leaning Tower of Pisa last summer in my Forest shirt, turned round to hear a you reds shout - a family of Trickies from Ruddington! That was a good spot!
