Forest are a pub team

Forest ARE nothing more than a pub team. Dirty, kicking heels, looking to curry favour with the ref, etc etc etc. McKenna should have been sent off just for the whinging and whining he did to the ref! Billy Davies, f*** off back to Knobbers, or Forest or Scotland or wherever it is you were ejaculated from

I still think they are more of a pub team.

You're right though, they're nothing more than a pub team, nipping at our heels all the time, pushing our players around the place

Just a few comment of blackpool vital board I come across.

Oh well I'm sure the pub team will step up to the mark on Tuesday.

Did I read that right? Did they say "f*** off back to Knobbers, or Forest ?

Jesus I so want to hammer them now! The thing is though their main forum is a message board which means you don't need an account and don't have a post count etc. so people can just go on it and talk shit. :blahblah:

whatever makes them feel better about themselves...
although i think it's telling that they are being so aggressively defensive when they are a goal ahead... almost like they are expecting a lesson in football come Tuesday

At the end of the day should it really matter what other members of other boards think about us, simple answer NO who cares we have acheived 3rd in the league on merit and yes the away form is a concern or has been a concern but it is only half time and we are one goal behind this game is very much ON" I don't care what Blackpool or other fans think it's all about how we apply our selves now, it's in our hands!:3rd::tysonflag:

How sad.

Looked like they were limited tickets, because of the netting placed on the GK, but my God they were disappointing. Didn't hear a peep out of them - other than when they scored. Abysmal.

if we are a pub team we are probably one of the best pub teams about. :) Some of their challanges on saturday were bordering on assualt, a couple on Radi and Ando were the worst. They were lucky with the ref being inept. At least we tried to get the ball down in spells and didnt revert to their tactics. They dont play 4 3 3 to be attacking, they play 4 3 3 so there is someone in a position to collect their 75 yard hoof balls from full back to opposite striker

Our fans were quiet, I don't think that's unfair. It was the same in the league up there too - really frustrating... chants just went taking off, not sure why as we're usually okay away from home. Maybe it's the stand having relatively few rows and being open... god knows.

You can't really create an atmosphere in an open terrace miles away from the pitch, though. I watched the game back when I got home and we were audible all game.

Also, if we 'niggle ankles' then I suppose they 'niggle upper thigh's' after Adam's stoods up assault.

They have league 2 support, Notts probably averaged a better gate than them. Plus that pitch certainly was sunday league standard

You could clearly hear 'Charlie Adam, what a w**ker, what a w**ker' at one point -I assume that was our fans?

I would've thought so, I guess Sky must've had mics close by as I never heard that despite being there!.... spread along the length of the pitch with few rows makes it hard to either generate or detect at atmosphere.

You could only hear us in patches but these occurred well into our worst period of play i.e. the second half. :hmm:

A Blackpool fan calling Forest a pub-side...classic!

You every manager in this league who the best footballing side in the league is and I bet most would say Forest.

See you Tuesday...can't wait!

crikey what did Forest do to offend Blackpool so muchlol

Seriously, they just beat us 2-1, they should be ecstatic.

Although quite where the arrogance comes from is anyone's guess.

To be honest I thought Blackpool were not that good yesterday, no offence to Ian Holloway but playing a home should have warranted better attacking play by Blackpool.

As for the ref, I could not believe some of the decisions, Forest clearly had a penalty when one of their Donkey's hand balled. As for their pen...joke really

Let the best team win ey!

god I love it when other fans slag us off before big games. can these comments be put on twitter and facebook to get out to the masses becuase if it has the same effect on me as it does others, the city ground will be a cauldron on Tuesday night.

can I sugest for this one game people get there 15 mins earlier than usual and start building a atmosphere up before kick off, maybe even ask the club to ditch the music for this one game, imagine if half the ground is singing as the team talks of taking place, blackpool players could well become nervous, and forest players might just come out with some extra determination

There's probably only a minority of idiots on that forum making comments like that just like there are on any forum (this one included!)

I'm liking the idea of the fans arriving earlier to build up an intimidating atmosphere ahead of the players setting foot on the pitch. The 'Mull of Kintyre/City Ground' must simply be the loudest it's ever sung and hopefully, the PA will fade into submission allowing the fans to carry it on beyond the whistle.

Didn't Brian Clough once say that games can be won before a ball is kicked?

In fact, maybe Alex can issue a copy of the LTLF 'City Ground' rendition to the PA ground for this occasion. How mega would that be? lol

A 'pub team'? lol lol lol

And Blackpool are a pub team, with a pub pitch and a pub crowd.

I know whose brand of pub football I'd rather watch and it's not theirs... hoof, hoof, hoof!
