Chairman Nigel Doughty believes the Billy Davies factor makes Nottingham Forest a more attractive proposition for transfer targets.
Davies has made no secret of his desire to add significantly to his squad before the start of next season and has drawn-up his wanted list.
And Mr Doughty believes Davies' managerial reputation, as well as the standing of the club, will help him secure his targets this summer.
In an exclusive interview with Forest World, he said: "I think having Billy as our manager means that the attractiveness of the club has improved markedly.
"With respect to other people, he has done it before - he's done it at Preston, he's done it at Derby and a promising player would say 'Um Forest, big club, great support, great stadium nice place to live, a good manager too and the Chairman is backing him. That's the place to go'."

Very interesting, especially the line I have highlighted. Wonder if it will be Billy leading the charge to acquire our targets then? Perhaps the media outburst worked in some way? Although obviously we can't judge this until the start of the season when we see how many of our targets join us!
