is Victor C giving anything extra for promotion this season?

said in the programme for the home leg of the playoff's that he wouldn't be putting on offers like last season again

Last paragraph from Victor Chandlers letter in the programme for the Blackpoo game

I must tell you now though, don't expect a repeat of our over-generous odds and risk free season ticket offer - I may have been convinced about sponsoring a football team but I'm still a bookmaker at heart

Victor Chandler have us as 9/1 favourites to win the league , I cant find their book on 'promotion'. It was a massive risk they took on us winning the league last season, be good if they would offers us something - not necessarily a free bet like last year, say ST holders can bet up to a certain amount on forest winning the league at special odds?

It gets them more than just kudos (?), I've never mentioned any other sponsor so much - well, maybe Labatts, but I'm a piss head.

I must be a bit thick, 'cos the first list doesn't look as if it's in order - it makes us 2nd favourites (equal). 9/2 is clearly longer odds than 4/1. Burnley should do ok because they will be competing with no significant debts unlike Hull and Portsmouth. It still riles me that small clubs such as Burnley have been made powerful by the money from Sky, but I guess that they were well managed to get themselves promoted in the first place. We must get up there!

I think that's 9/1 to win the league, mate - outright, as in outright winners.

What's the best odds people have found for Forest promotion next season?

I suggest if you are thinking about it you better get it on soon as the price is only going to come down

if we sign the players who were linked with, the odds will plummet, so i'd take the chance now whilst it's relatively high (i feel a great sense of pleasure in saying that 4/1 is very tasty for forest :D)

It's going to be a tougher league this season.

Dissagree, I think it will be a much more open league this year.

Let's face it last year all the punters said NU and WBA would clinch the auto spots and so it came to pass. To me this year the two auto spots are much less certain.

Burnley seem to be the early favourites with the bookies but I think they have had their 15 minutes of fame and will be mid table ish.

Leicester will probably brutalise their way into the play offs again.

Leeds will sink under the weight of their own ego; let's face it they have been very mediocre since Christmas.

I expect Reading to do well.

Don't understand why QPR are rated so highly.

Openness = tough in my book - there's a lot of evenly matched teams (potentially) next season.
