How are we doing, I am currently creating a Football Manager Database with alot of great teams, And would like to include Cloughs Forrest Team but am very sketchy as what the players were like, If you could give me some insight as to what they were like I would be sure to give all who wanted a link to the finished download! Thanks!

Not sure Clough ever manager a team called Forrest :p

But the FoRest teams that won the European Cups were fantastic, I take it they are the teams you intend to make?! I'm too young to really know loads about them except for what I've heard, so I'll pass this over, but it sounds good and let us know when you've finished!

Welcome to the Forum by the way

Apologies yes that is the forest team i intend to recreate any help would be really appreciated

Thanks again but it doesnt really describe how each player played, which is more what im looking forjavascript:void(0);

As in their best attributes and strenghts / weaknesses ?

Anatoli and Sedgered may be your best bet. unfortunately a lot of us won't really remember a great deal.

I am too young to have seen them but I have watched a lot of videos since and heard a lot from my dad.

They played good flowing football along the ground. He also said that once they had gone 1-0 you knew more often than not that they had won because they were very tight at the back.

Shilton and Anderson were the best players in the world in their positions. I saw Martin O'Neil say that John Robertson was the best player he ever played with.

Anderson was very quick and a good tackler. Robertson was a very tricky winger. There is a famous quote by Clough that said he was not much of an athlete but give him a ball and a yard of grass and he was a genius.

Larry Lloyd and Kenny Burns were hard men centre backs. They took no prisoners and were good in the air. Kenny Burns was a striker converted to a centre back by Clough. A very good one as well he won Football writers player of the year in his 1st season at centre back.

The team as a whole was one of the greatest ever. They won the European cups back to back in a time when it was a knockout competition right from the start. They beat Europe's best teams for two seasons.

Very helpful, must admit, I've so far just basically created the players themselves now must add the actually build them as players, but I'm off to the dentist for the afternoon :( but if ye could continue supplying info id be very grateful, I've thrown in a few other playrers as well such as Stuart Pearce, and a young Stan Collymore! Forest will be back in the Prem as well but its a very tought league with the United Team of 99 with a 16 year old George Best and The Unbeaten Arsenal Team! Thanks again lads and hopefully we'll be up and running this evening!

Don't forget to share a link on here with us ;D
