Yeah, looking objectively, I do think Commons is a bit too high, but seems to be aided by the 'scoring a good goal in a high profile match against Man Utd' syndrome. I'd put him in the teens.

The list is obviously a bit of a nonsense as some of the League 1 and 2 players are just in there for a laugh, but it's a nice little feature for the football league.

I'd probably have Doyle above SEB, as Doyle's proven to have scored goals in the Premiership, and I think there's something to be said for having Westwood higher, Eagles too. Yet, if I could have any of them at Forest it'd be Delph - quality, and likely to become much better than anyone on the list.

Grant Holt being there is ridiculous - But they have to have a couple of lower league players in.

Commons and Scotland both too hight - Cohen possibly not high enough.

Good list though to be fair.

If Ebanks-Blake really is the best player in the football league, then it's a glaring example of all the best players being in the Premiership. There's Premiership strikers who are fifth and sixth choices for their teams that are better than he is.

The fact that there are no defenders in the top 16, and no keepers in the top 8, should indicate that the 'quality' of strikers may not be what it seems.

Is that a shop window he's stood in?

Fair play to Holt-y. He would never have won that award at Forest and I think he has found his level.

Given that Cohens played a few games at Left Back, does this mean we have the second best defender outside of the Premiership?

Some of the awards look a bit dubious. No doubt Fryatt's had a good season, but I'm amazed by how well Rickie Lambert's done for Bristol Rovers, given that they're an unfashionable, mid-table team and that some thought he had struggled to make the step up from League Two. And I'd much rather have Jack Lester than Grant Holt, who seems to have scored quite a few penalties from highlights I've seen (this may well be an illusion though) whereas the only thing Jack has been doing is missing them. This may sound over the top but I still feel that Jack Lester could offer something in the Championship even at his age. A penalty or two out of 'nothing.' ;D

But well done to Chris Cohen, he won't be here for many more seasons.

holt wouldnt of been in there if he was with us. scoring 8goals in the championship is much better than 15+ in league2
this isn;t a very fair representation of the league

Definitely not an illusion. He's scored about 16 penalties this season I think. He probably won all of those aswell.

Sad that we fear that any of our players who show good form won't be with us for long. Shows our confidence in the club. Not misplaced - we have got rid of bucketloads of talent and never replaced them - the reason we are in this pickle. The only way to stop this exodus is to go up and show real ambition. Cohen is great - it would be nice if he stays, but I wouldn't if I were him - I'd move to a club going places.
