As I recall flagpoles and the like are clamped down on quite a bit, which is standard I suppose. There can't be any rule against taking the flag on its own though, surely?

You can get red AND white ones. With just a little organisation, we could put on a hell of a display.
Maybe the club could get involved and have a "Flare suggestion" on the ticket telling you which colour to get.
We could have a poll on here or in the Evening Post for which motif / message for the next game.

What's England stance on flares? I know they are common on the continent and Man Utd had a few in last Wednesday at Eastlands but their i dunno the state of play with them.
