We are still 6th and Derby 7th from bottom.

1 week ago , literally 1 week ago, everything was rosy, new manager had won every game, three free scoring strikers. Now one league loss and a loss to our rivals in a pointless FA Cup game and it's the end of the world.

We are crippled with injuries and need replacements - we will get some loanees in to sort this asap I'm sure.

How can Forest fans have just long memories to harp on about winning the European Cup everyday, then be so shortsighted to forget how far we've come since the dark days between August and November.

we would all have liked to have beat the sheep lovers, but saturday is what really matters! getting sum points and making sum space between us and the bottom 3!!

I don't know why lots of people have turned negative, Cardiff away was always going to be tough so losing was no surprise, and Derby were in the prem last season and could bring Ellington on as a sub, with great respect who could we bring on? and getting spanked by Man U in the next round is an odd prize. Who cares.

As a set of fans we are overall definately fickle.

I remember last week or so people were suggesting play off places again a top 10 finish should be expected.

2 losses against a top promotion contender and a fully fit average championship side with extreme limited resources and now we are going to be relegated again.

I heard a Liverpool fan on 606 recently describe them as being in 'crisis'.

Best response was from a Luton fan who said if he'd like to swap places he'd be more than happy ;D


We'll be fine, and survival really is all that counts this season so we can do some decent business in the summer and build a squad for the future with one of the most successful Championship managers in recent history. We will be great again.

Agreed - someone said in another post that BD can f*** off. That is unbelievable and highlights how fickle football fans are. Cardiff away and our ressys / youth team v derby, not the end of the world losing them to on paper. Losing to the scum anytime is heartbreaking, but when you step back and look at the bigger picture we have to focus 100% on the league and we are in a much stronger position than before BD arrived. F.A cup would have been a brilliant bonus for the club in terms of cash and exposure, but looking at the squad last night, do we really need another cup game?! The answer is no. Lets get everyone back for the league game against the scum whilst they get more players injured and take a hiding against Utd.

i'm not gonna get on billy's back - last night showed the mess CC got us in - other than morgan - average (at best centre halfs) wilson was awful - and always has been

chambers didn't do anything wrong last night but isn't good enough at this level - last night for me was CC's fault!! i'm sure billy will sort it out

Very true I was listening to a Man Utd fan saying Fergie should be sacked after his team selection for a mid week game.... Even though they won 1-0!!!
