** Ferrari World v Forest World? **

Sorry thought this deserved it's own threat (mods please delete if you disagree) I'm just very excited looking at the new Ferrari world by the architects that have been commisioned to design the new City Ground - I wonder if there will be similarities?

I've been giving our proposed new home some greater thought of late and found the new Ferrari World taking shape nicely. Sorry if this has been posted previously but Benoy really do know how to build international quality infrastructure. Have a look around this new baby!!

If our new arena is anything like this then we're in for a treat! I just hope I get a 'like-for-like' front row seat! Wouldn't swap my current seat for anywhere else.

Of course it deserves a thread! :)

ForestWorld hands down.

I don't know if this has been spotted before.

Graham Cartledge

The director of Benoy architects is a non-executive director of Nottingham Forest. Obviously a man of high esteem in the business and architecture world. Now, I don't see this as 'jobs for the old boys' but more exciting.

Graham is a Non-Executive Director of Nottingham Forest FC and a Judge for the Annual Prince Philip Designers Prize. He is also an Ambassador for The Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts. Last year, Graham received a CBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for services to architecture and charity.

If he has heart in Nottingham Forest then surely we can only expect the best (which seems to be in line with his usual work and why he has such a high reputation)

EDIT

Which appears that he does as a lifelong supporter !

As a fan, this adds more impotus to listening to other fans, which I'm sure won't escape the club or Benoy

They gave Richard Rogers a peerage for drawing buildings inside out.

Perhaps we WILL have grass in the sky after all..........

I definitely hope some kind of seat-choosing ability is fair - I have a fantastic seat at the City Ground :(

id quite like it if they did give us some kind of penned area tbh with that safety glass separating us form the away fans rather than the silly empty seats the usually use., it would create a much more intimidating atmosphere for traveling fans.

when we move the most important thing and the first battle will be keeping away fans quite, it is inevitable that the fans that sing will end up dotted everywhere so away fans will have the upper hand but there will be a large section like myself that will renew season tickets in the area closest to the away fans, if we have very little separation it will help the banter and make it more intimidating helping to keep the atmosphere biased towards home support.

Funny you should say that but on my visit to the Ajax ArenA the other week, they pointed out just that for the away fans.

Here it is, they're in the upper left corner of the stadium. They have their own tunnel in and out and train station too.
