Can you also answer when we've played terrible football aswell? Was that when we beat Everton, Newcastle, Boro home and away or your absolute bitter sh'te 4 times this season?

If you drop your deluded attitutde you might actually get somewhere. Seriously guys drop this deluded 'big club' mentality or you will continue to be smashed by clubs like 'little old Blackpool'.

Personally I thought the sheer lunacy of my post made it obvious that it was a joke but apparently not. Quite amusing how eager people are to take you on face value.

I'm not disappointed by the result to be honest, you guys deserved it over the two legs and you have my support for the final.

I would not say Blackpool are awful but I do think it was us that made you look good last night. You looked about as dangerous as a worm in the first half and were pretty much there for the taking but the individual mistakes that we are so used too came flooding back just at the wrong time. As for the style of football then I would say that the 50 yard full back hoofing is awful BUT we werent any better last night to be fair.

Get real boys you know full well there would have been loads of your lot gloating on our board if the shoe was on the other foot.

The facts of the matter are we beat you 4 times this season you arent even on our radar in terms of making it a competition between us.

Do you agree that you have overly deluded to think you would make the premiership at the first time of asking? We would have been happy even if we went out last night where as, from viewing this forum, you lot are devastated!

What exactly are you hoping to achieve with this post?

When you go down the zoo, do you poke a bear with a stick just because he'd maul you if he weren't behind cage bars?

So what if some of our more retarded posters had come on your board IF the boot had been on the other foot? Does that mean you have to stoop to their level?

The majority of our fans stayed behind to applaud your fans, for their excellent support and your team for their excellent performance.

So why do you seem to have a problem with us?

Don't presume that you know how I feel or what I would have done if we had won last night.

I have never (and will never in the future for that matter) go on opponents' forums to gloat or wind up. I have better things to do with my time. Any of our fans who had done would be regarded as morons by me.

And I am not devastated, quite the opposite. We're not ready to go up, as I suspect that you aren't. I guess the difference between our two teams is that for you getting to the Premiership will be the biggest achievement, even if you come straight back down.

Whereas we want to ensure we are equiped enough to go up and stay up. We're not ready and, quite simply, you were the better team last night.

As Congo said, a vast number of our supporters, myself included, stayed to clap your players (apart from DJ Campbell) and manager off the pitch. That deserves respect and a question to yourself about whether you would have done the same thing had we won.

It would actually be the second time of asking.

But anyway, I'm not devastated, far from it. Perhaps this is down to the fact that I don't take football seriously anymore...or maybe it's because I'm still bewildered that my ludicrous post was somehow mistaken for genuine football critique. Either way, last nights result isn't bugging me at all.

I can only speak for myself of course but I actually enjoyed last nights game. Sure, we lost, but at least it wasn't boring.

good luck to you mate promotion and 100 million will hopefully finnish your ground for you, atract a few more fans through the gates, sort that god awefull pitch out maybe even employ some litter pickers, but remember the premiership can leave you a very big head ache once you come back down again.

best of luck in the finnal on the day you deserved it, yes you beat us 4 times but league tables dont lie over the season we where the better side.

I actually think the fact that we finished third and you finished sixth speaks volumes. To most observers, that would reveal more than the lottery of the play-offs. I'm just grateful that you seem to be a freak amongst a Blackpool fanbase, the vast proportion of which was gracious in defeat last night.

I would hazard a guess and say that you are a part-time fan who didn't attend the match last night because anyone who was there and saw the respect we showed to both your players and your fans after the final whistle wouldn't have the nerve to come and here and show that little dignity. We made you look good and we accept that. Now please go and celebrate with the rest of your fellow Blackpool fans because otherwise it appears that you care more about Nottingham Forest (although I wouldn't blame you if you did).
