17th August 1974 - The price of the Club match-day programme was increased from 7p. to 10p. (Prog - Bristol City) Day light robbery!!!
17th August 1974 - John Carter, the Commercial Manager, announced the formation of ‘Forestrail’ and that the Forest travel Club (membership 25p) would be running trains to away games, the first was to be to Portsmouth on the 24th August when two trains had been ordered. The return fare - £2.50 and the next to Old Trafford on the 7th September was £1.75. Just bought a book of 6 first class stamps = £1:92.
