Andy Van Der Meyde and Nunu Valente have both been released by the sweet toothed scousers.

these are potential bargains are they not?

both "flops" so to speak, no-one really interested, but still have lots of quality.

...wouldn't touch him with County's bargepole. He's an alcoholic of proportions not seen since George Best...(in my opinion)

There's quite a few gone from Pompey too.

Nothing overly special but Pamarot would be a very steady right back for us I'd think.

Little has gone from there who's I'd love to see us go in for but I get the feeling he's gone back to Reading already. Not sure though.

I hope we've learned from previous mistakes not to go around offering contracts to greedy premier league rejects. Their sole motivation is the cash, and they're always on their way down.

Pamarot at Pompey might be ok, the two at Everton I wouldn't go anywhere near.

Noticed a few Arsenal youngsters are to be released, and we could be in with a shout, considering Arsene's high rating of John Pember.....

Why would you want Little when we have Anderson and McCleary?

Because a squad should have more than two natural wingers and if there's a good one going for nothing then why shouldn't we look?

Add to that McCleary wasn't great when he started games last year. I think he'll be an impact player again for at least the first half of this game. Have you seen Thomas play anyway? I think at his best he's better than Anderson and McCleary.

Yes I rate Thomas but not Little who is the guy you said you would like to see us sign? YOU ARE CONFUSING ME....DOESN'T TAKE MUCH.

Anderson and McCleary cover right wing whilst Tyson and 1 other on the left. Could be Thomas yes but not little. Might yet be McSheffrey....Little failed to impress at Portsmouth and looked past it when he returned to Reading. Better wingers around I reckon, including Thomas if he can stay injury free,

Ha! Yeah I thought you put Thomas my mistake.

Still think Little would be good. McCleary can play either wing and I thought Anderson was better when played down the left than the right. Tyson isn't a natural winger if he was he'd have got more games playing out there, Cohen seemed to be preferred there when he cleary is a middle of the park player.

Please tell me it's another Glen Little, not the gummy f***er who hasn't been involved in a game of football for about 3 seasons.
