As I am on a yellow card I have had to post this as a poll.

Don't think this has been done before but have you ever cried over Forest?

I cried when we lost to Sheff Utd in the play offs in 03 but I only 11 or so at the time.

I cried a little in happiness when we promoted two (and a bit) years ago.

I felt close to tears, I just didn't expect it.

The Yeovil playoff game didn't make me cry but it genuinely gave me a massive headache.

when we lost the uefa cup semi-final second leg 3-0 away to anderlecht after winning 2-0 at the cg , after some astonishing refereeing decisions it of course came out years later that the ref ( spanish i think ?) took a bung ! we would have course played & beaten spurs in the final. an important part of our successful history denied by some cheating money grabbing ****

No crying but I have been close twice.

Losing the FA cup final to Spuds and after relegation from the Prem when Cloughie retired.

I hated seeing that jug eared bastard Lineker grinning in 91 and could not believe that a side with so many good players could be relegated to the first division.

Same, that was the most frustrating games of football I have ever witnessed. For the neutral it must have been great but for a Forest fan it was probably one of the most depressing and embarrassing moments we've ever had to endure...

After the FA Cup Final defeat to Spurs, balled my eyes out but i was only 10 at the time!

More recently though,, the Sheff Utd playoff defeat had me welling up and the minutes silence for Cloughie at the West Ham game had the same affect

It was the Malmo flag, with the "Thanks for everything" message on it in the pile of stuff left to remember Brian Clough that finished me off.

The Sheffield United relegation game I sat in the Upper Bridgford & cried. I was mid-twenties.

Hillsborough, though that wasn't mostly Forest, thankfully.

...and very nearly - VERY nearly, with something between relief and exultation when Dexter scored THAT goal last season. That was something special. Not the goal in itself, but what it clearly signified.

I had to get extremely pissed just to cope if I remember rightly. The whole week was just a landslide of piss taking and it was truly horrible, that was the most angry that I had ever been with a Forest side.

Don't think I have for football reasons no.

I did shed a tear at numerous Clough-related events though including the memorial service, statue unveiling..

Seems the sensible thing to do if you can start polls but not threads would have been to have a poll asking "Have you cried over Forest?" with a yes and no option.

For the record I haven't, as much as I care about the club and feel the emotions of the game people crying when their team gets beat or relegated or whatever pisses me off. The only thing Forest could do that might make me cry would be to go out of existence.

Cried when BC died at the ground, with my solitary scarf flying on the gates which were joined by thousands within the hour.

Cried a little bit when we went down, but was muted due to knowing we we're going to go down long before that.

Didn't cry losing to Yeovil. Was shocked followed by angry.

that yeovil game i was doing my finals at uni and was trying to cut back on drinking so i had a clear head whenever i woke up in the morning. i went out and got absolutely f***ing smashed that night. i had to get it out of my system.

the sheff utd game was totally different, that was a team i'd stocked up dreams in and they were cruelly snatched away by warnock and peschisolido

When Clough retired and we went down, I was only 6 or 7 but I was at the game and I cried, I must have understood on some level what it all meant.

Nearly cried when we lost to Shef Utd in 03. I threw my mobile on the floor and locked myself in my room!

Was speechless when we lost to Yeovil.

yeovil had me in complete shock words cant explain that game even now actualy words cant explain that season.

sheff utd in play offs I very nearly ended up fighting with some twat in the king john in town (used to drink in there alot before games and watched the away legg there) cant remember why it nearly kicked off but was think it was just 2 very pissed of drunk people wanting to vent at someone, wasnt till the next day when they played a peice on the radio with prutton (who was at southampton at the time) talking about the squad that gave me a bit of a lump in my throat.

the clough memorys do bugger me up everytime and is probably the only real time ive cried over football.

Not cried but emotional after the sheff unt loss. I turned it off (radio) after walker scored the own goal and just went to sleep.
Although i was quite young i can remember the day after i was mates (still are) with a lad that had gone and we just shook heads and then didnt speak about it.

The yeovil night didnt really bother me. I was more angry than emotional that night.

The 91 final was my first game and I sobbed loads then ( i was only 7 ) Was upset after Sheff Utd and Yeovil, but crried when Cloughie died, not full on but a few tears.

Same when Bobby Robson passed too. Obviously no real links to us, but when you see the effect he had on the game and what a genuine and popular bloke he was, it was very sad to see him go. One of the few top managers that everyone honestly liked.
