Ever been in the wrong place at the wrong time at a Forest match.

I got caught out at Leicester about 20 years ago when i turned up at Filbert Street without a ticket.
About 7/8 of them gave chase but they couldn't catch me though :D

My uncle and a few were getting the old run down at newcastle, were just about to probably get bottled and some cop car went screeching past and all the jordies with bottles scrambled.

My bro thought the recent Direby game at the CG was a normal kick off, so didn't make it 'til around half time, by which point we started to collapse!

First match in the old 1st division at Goodison walked right into the Everton crowd coming from toilets.
Sporting my red and white scarf (gulp)
I invented the Moonwalk before Michael Jackson and returned to our section unscathed

Derby FA Cup this year, leaving the ground found myself walking over a footbridge with hundreds of Sheep Shaggers surrounding me..

Would have been alright because I kept my gob shut.. but little did I know the bottom of my Forest top was hanging beneath my jacket.. cue 3 dickheads spitting on my back.

the worst one for me was the 6th round fa cup 89 at old trafford, they opened the gates straight after the match and we came out first (about 30 or so) then the united fans rushed the gates to when they were promptly shut, leaving us on our own surrounded by about 10,000 united fans.my top went straight down my pants, and i poked myself in the eye to make it look as if i were crying because of the result.

oh and tottenham TOO many to mention.

Millwall away. Don't know what year, but I was only 6 or 7.

Me and my Dad stayed in the ground for a while after the game because we were chatting with a couple of other Forest fans and so we left about 20 minutes after the rest of the crowd.

Unbeknown to us, Millwall fans had started some kind of riot outside the ground and we had to walk right through it to where we were parked.

This involved the police making a tunnel with their riot shields.

Not nice for a yound lad.

Hah these stories are a great read ;D

Back in the dim distant past (1977) we played Southampton in the FA cup and we'd given them the Trent End, I spent a long time queing to get in before realising (red and white scarves you see), but since I was only 10 I didn't get any hassle.

I was at the back of the Trent End (trying to be a big boy) when we played Liverscum in the League Cup semi final - it ws almost time and 0-0 and a load of people left. I got swept away in the crowd - just as we were awarded a last minute penalty which Robbo scored (and I missed).

There was also once a massive battle vs Manure on the edge of the Meadows (on a construction site) being only 13 I watched in from the top of the subway whereas my mate hid under a digger.

I was stood in the Old Trent end on my stool and Neil Webb had just returned slightly more portly than before. Chants of Mr Blobby rang around my ears, then a cornish pasty was thrown - it smacked and exploded on the back on my head. I was upset but stayed on my stool.

Funny image in head!

Reminds me of that episode of the simpsons where grandpa walks into a burlesque house whistling, see's bart working on the door so turns around and quickly makes an exit.

No such stories to report myself.

My best mate at school was unfortunate enough to have his parent split up, however one trip to see his Dad in his new home in the capital in May 91 led to him very kindly taking us to White Hart Lane for the pre-Cup Final meeting. Although I was persuaded not to don the Garibaldi, I could not hold in my delight as Nigel lobbed us in front after about 15 minutes, and jumped to my feet applauding....cue one mate's Dad shrinking into his jacket, and one very scared 11 year old feeling 5000 pairs of cockney eyes wanting to kill me. We left at half time :p

Two weeks ago at Fester station, I nipped out for a fag and was walking down the stairs to platform one , i saw three Arsenal supporters walking up the stairs and then heard a roar coming from the platform, they saw my garibaldi and advised me that it would be in my best interests to turn around and run like buggery as a load of fester fans had just got off a train.

On 'Sir Charlie Palmer day' myself and a couple of mates were in the home terrace at Meadow Lane (mostly pre-Lego days) with not-remotely-disguised colours.

I think, on balance, the day went better for us thanks to Charlie Palmer's headed goal giving Notts the victory their fans still crow about, because we nearly got into bother despite the scruffy magpies being in a generally good mood (let's face it, they'd all just jizzed their pants).

Pretty foolish of us really, but we were young and silly. I think Mick Walker score at us at one point. If I recall correct David Phillips scored our goal, and he did a somersault just infront of us. We also heckled Neil Webb lots who was a substitute that day and was warming up infront of us, blocking our view.

you should have thrown a cornish pasty at him

It would've simply been dragged into orbit around his not inconsiderable arse along with numerous other satellites.

Not quite on the same level of any of these stories, but when I was 18 or 19, I got completely w**kered before turning up to the CG and then in a drunken, already uncorked haze wandered into the Women's toilets...

...I'd barely realised my mistake when I was already being dragged out by an eagle-eyed steward.

As a 14 year-old, I went to the Baseball Ground in 1987 with my Dad & his mates.

We successfully avoided all the scrapes going off around the station, and the dingy little alleys around the ground.

As my Dad and his mates had had a few beers, I took the lead to get us to the right turnstiles.
Having made the queue @ the turnstiles, I got all cocky in front of my more experienced European-jaunt veteran comraids, spouting "The f**king sheepshagging b*****ds, they're all b****y mouth, the pussies".

This guy bends down to whisper in my ear, "You're probably best off not forming that opinion in this end youth, the Forest ends round the other side".

Looking around, most eyes were fixed on me, but more in pity than anger. Actually, that's not strictly true, as my Dad was all set to rip me to bits.

Needless to say, I filled me pants with poo and we buggered off to the right end.

I have NEVER been allowed to live that one down.

lol

That reminds me of my mate.

Maine Road, in the game we drew 3-3 with Woany scoring a last minute right-footed shank.

For some reason our supporters club had secured a block of tickets separate from the main away fans who were opposite us (so we had fun chanting abuse at the main group of travelling trickies and receiving it back).

So basically we were in the home end (again!) but in good numbers, and generally good humour.

Anyway, we were drunk as is the way of away trips, and just by the entrance to the concourse I encountered my mate who had just been to the toilet. "f***ing quiet in there!" he announced, "and the weird thing is, they had no urinals, just cubicles!", as I followed where his hand was pointing he'd just wandered obliviously into the ladies lol

I'm pretty sure due to our raucous celebrating of the late equaliser he got a smack round the head from a disgruntled City fan as well - not his best day!

Barnsley a few weeks ago. Parked in Barnsley town centre, walked into the centre into Blah Blah bar and it fell silent, ordered our drinks and with our accents being heard a few tables of blokes got up, one got on his phone and said that '5 Forest scabs have just walked in, get down here now', some fat skinhead walked straight into me, few lads in caps and polo shirts started throwing stuff at us, still we stubbornly stood our ground as we still had drinks although we were now drinking at a ridiculous pace before hot footing it out of there with about 15 communists in hot pursuit. Police horses were a welcome site. Pride can get you a kicking.

Hah, that story was great. You were like the luckiest bloke in the north west that afternoon. Just escaping a burnley whip.

I can remember that, the local mancs were well p**sed off and had gathered to welcome us on the concourse outside. I was amongst the first out and took a bit of a kicking. It was only afterwards that I found out the Police had actualy shut the gates behinds us locking in the rest of the Forest support and locking us outside. Another classic Police cock up I mean what did they think the 1000 Manchester meatheads were up to when they gathered out our end, waiting to applaud us for a good game ?
