Getting waaaaaay ahead of myself, but IF we get through, who would we rather face in the final? For me it's definitely Braga. I know they've already beaten us this season, but that was at their ground and we were shit at the time. We've already overcome an opponent who beat us in the league phase in Midtjylland. And we haven't played a German team so Freiburg might be a bit more of an unknown.
I can tell you a bit about Freiburg, they are a decent side, Vincenzo Grifo is a real danger man for Die Breisgauer.

Meh, whoever wins our semi final will win in Istanbul. Unless they're missing half a starting line up either side will be too strong for Braga or Freiburg. The midfields of both Forest and Villa will boss their less physical opponents.

Absofuckinglutly been saying it all season nights like that very rarely come around and and people wanted to throw this competition away at every stage so far winning breeds winning no matter what game it is and its evident now by how we are playing.
Long way from done yet still but also so close if were not here for nights like that what are we hear for
The monumental pessimist in me still thinks we'll struggle to get through as a 1 goal lead won't be enough and at 6/4 to qualify for the final, Villa are favourites still. I think whoever scores first in the second leg will go through.
Having said that - for shits and giggles i've just had a look at flight prices and airline companies have obviously cottoned on. Big money to get to Istanbul now unless you're happy with 1/2 changes.

I have no idea how Braga have got so far in this competition, they will be one of the weakest teams to reach the final for years. Absolute no brainer that one.
We will be strong favourites against both if we make it through though.

Just checked and the direct flights from Manchester I booked after we beat Porto, for £375 including free cancellation, are now £800
I'm surprised they haven't put the prices up since the semis were announced.
They would have known that two English teams and hours drive from each other will use the same airports so they could have done it back then.

That was the only moment from last night were i wanted to face palm. Randomly running into the young influencer (i'm assuming thats what she is because she seems to be everywhere lately) was just a bit "come on now what are we playing at here?" as it was obviously in some way "organised"
Won't matter a jot of course but should we get knocked out next week prepare to see that being plastered all over social media until the end of the season

More annoyed that the talksport guy that supports forest put it out there really obviously we were going to celebrate the win but yes does seem staged and come on guys we can hopefully celebrate properly next week trouble with social media but im old and deleted most of mine so im the wrong one to ask
