Eugene Dadi banging them in

Think this just about qualifies as forest banter but feel free to move it.

Wellington Phoenix 3-0 North Queensland Fury: Eugene Dadi Stars Again

The cult striker has helped his new club to a huge win.

Jan 15, 2010 9:10:00 AM

Wellington Phoenix took a huge step toward finals football with a 3-0 win over the North Queensland Fury in hostile conditions at Westpac Stadium this evening.

Sleeting rain and strong wind made for a setting not conducive to the most flowing style of football, the match offering discernible rhythm only in patches.

Goals from Eugene Dadi, Paul Ifill and Jon McKain gave the New Zealanders a deserved victory in the end, ending any lingering hopes of finals football for the Fury.

I was just thinking the other day, whatever happened to Eugene Dadi

Yeah, me neither.

I haven't seen it, but apparently he scored a bicycle kick into the top corner last week!

WTF

[Flaggers]

I liked the related video it offered me.

Now THAT was a free-kick to behold!

You realise that video is sped up to four times it's normal rate.

Also - I take it Aussies don't like that kind of football? You know, seeing as there is NOBODY THERE.

[rossybeary]

Were the other scorers Paul Ifill who used to play for Palace and Millwall? and John McKain who ran for US president? both gone downhill, but Dadi must be loving it there considering he played in Tranmere for years.

That was his debut, if I remeber rightly he had a good debut for Notts County and quickly faded....

[Eastwood Red]

Sign him up, sign him up, sign him up...

[sydney_red]

He started well at Perth Glory then faded before he was released. Expect the same to happen at Wellington.

[Anatoli]

Wasn't his most important contribution at Forest, designing suits for the team to wear?

I think you mean Kiwi's....Wellington is in New Zealand! :-* ;D

[sydney_red]

Not quite so hot last night. If you think Earnie takes a poor penalty, just watch Dadi's pathetic effort against his old club Perth. Could have put them right back in the game as well.

When Eugene Dadi banged me, I just felt dirty and used.
