if he hadn't got injured against Derby for us he would have been a good player, i think people forget that before that game he had his first extended run in the team and was living up to his billing, after the ankle injury he was never the same...still though not good enough for the Prem now!

I watched this lad many a saturday morning down the academy and he really was a different gravy. One morning he hit the top corner from about 30 yards followed 5 minutes later by a overhead kick from 18 yards that rattled in the top left. Paul Hart, then gaffer stood smiling and shaking his head and discussing the lad with charlie mac. It just goes to show how big the step up really is !

Sadly I don't think Paul Hart will see out his two year contract at Portsmouth.

Bopp was a talented kid but he's been a below par League One goon for several seasons.

I think maybe people are reading into this a bit too much.

I'd say the most likely scenario is Bopp was playing for a Portsmouth XI or the reserves tonight (2-2 against Havant & Waterlooville?) He knows Hart from his days at Forest who has probably just given him permission to train with them and play in a few friendlies to help try and attract the interest of a potential new club.

He's most likely going to end up back in League Two which is his level now I think, maybe even Notts County?

I did his personal accident insurance in my last job and the medical report that came with it did not make easy reading, I think without the problems he'd had and the course his career took because of them he could have been a premiership player but not anymore.

It was one of those half and half matches from what I heard on SSN. A full squad out in the first half that was replaced in the second half by youngsters and trialists.
