I know we don't normally put music in the Forest Banter section but i thought it was worthy of going in here a) to help promote a Nottingham group to a big audience and b) The Establishment features ex Forest player John Burns.

They have been around for a few years now and have finally been given the chance to take on the charts with the up coming release of the single "Be That Way". Myself, Alex and Flagman were fortunate enough to meet up with John last week for a preview of the video and not only is it a good video it's a catchy song as well.

The video features a number of ex football players in unusual roles like.... View attachment 577

The video should be released very soon but you can see lots more pictures and find out exactly who is in the video by checking out the facebook page here. If you haven't been fortunate enough to hear any of the songs by The Establishement sign up to the mailing list and you will be sent a free track.

It has been a long time since Nottingham has had any sort of success in the charts and it would be great if we could get one with a link to the City Ground!

Please help support them by signing up for the mailing list (and getting the free song) and the facebook page.

Not really my thing, but I wish there was more stuff like this on the radio rather than chav crap. Music like this was the mainstream a few years ago. Now its all sodding brap brappy twatty naaaah. Bring back respectable middle of the road radio music! Let Nottingham lead the charge!

Have seen them a few times, and think they're a pretty good band.

Look forward to them being in the charts. Will certainly buy their record when it comes out.

Followed these for a while, having seen them do many gigs in my local town.

Very good band indeed, best of luck for the future.

Do you reckon they'll need any backing singers? I know a great rendition of Mull of Kintyre. lol

2 things

1) Who are the women in the video? They seem familiar but not sure I can place them.

2) They need to get a decent record plugger to push the track for them. The plugger will have more contacts than most people

Its catchy but thats about it, its very dated, and sounded like it should have been out about 10-15yrs ago, they sound very "Levellers" who were of course shit, so i wouldnt waste my money on this one im afraid.

I quite like the song, to be honest.
Good vocals, and catchy enough... Not that excited about the production, but that's just me being an arse...
They have potential...
