Yeah same process as getting normal Forest tickets, you can phone them up or pop down to City Ground and fetch them. But at least we get to watch a proper team at the moment.

I know this is a long shot, but depending on how many are up for it, how about having an LTLF get together and see if we are able to block book tickets, sit together like chums do.

I like this idea ... didn't it say on the website they do discount for large group bookings?

It would be good to have another LTLF meet and its not even too expensive :)

Sounds like a fun plan, Sedgred! I'll have a look in the works' diary and book some time off. :)

Excellent plan, Nige.

They offer group discounts, so block bookings shouldn't be too difficult.

Either that or we designate an LTLF area of the ground and we all try to get tickets in that area. A block is a logical option for this.

Well of course a block is a logical option, but which block?

I went to the last time England U-21's played France Under 21's. It was about 10 years ago and at Gay Pride Park.

Upfront for France - Thierry Henry.

Upfront for England - Michael Bridges.

Amazingly, I think we still won.

You, Sir, are guilty of multiple counts of unnecessary and flagrant fuelling of the Direby economy.

I remember many years ago an England Under-18 game at the City Ground against Sweden; Paul Scholes (then a virtually unknown 17 year old) played up front for England, and some bloke called Sulezeer Campbell played as a Centre-Midfielder (he looked a decent prospect, even at 17!)

Can't even remember the score, but if I recall correctly it was a good match.

I've just suggested a company "day out" to the England-France match (our offices are about 800 yards round the corner from the CG) so not only have I arranged a 'team building' exercise, I've also got work to pay for the tickets - that must count as some kind of result!

What a cracking idea Sedge.

The we could spend the entire 90 minutes slagging of how poor the under 21 manager is & have a dig at a few of the players at the same time!

Count me in :D

A group booking would be a great idea - if we get 15 people then the tickets are half price! :)

They often choose a local player (if only to boost attendances) - what chances of seeing McGugan play ?
