Oh well you live and learn. On paper he does have attributes to succeed but his biggest flaw has always been his brain/game intelligence.
I lost count of the amount of times he broke a promising break away down by cutting inside, running into traffic and losing possession.
Good luck to him though, we'll always have that chip versus Newcastle to remember him by.

By the same token he's never shown himself to be a bad egg and never caused any disruption and all of the other lads seemed to get along with him.
That does assume he's prepared to go to those clubs. We can't sell or even loan someone out without their consent.
Could just be he feels he's settled / wants to stay in the UK rather than adapt to a new country.
