Been recalled by Billy Davies from Macclesfield. Just thought i'd add it in here. Think what you want to think about it, but may be a sign that we definately don't have any new signings imminent.

Can't we sign players on loans until about 3 weeks into march anyway?

It's frustrating but we simply have to survive this season and take stock in the summer.

We can sign loan players a little earlier, but most prefer to wait as the maximum loan is three months, so a mid-march arrival takes you to the end of the season; hence why some wait a week or two after the loan windows "opens".

The situation has now gone beyond the ridiculous. Fair enough, Newbold clearly isn't good enough and so Davies is exploring his last available option. However, if he wasn't good enough for us in League One, he clearly won't be good enough in the Championship.

I think I would still give Morgan the chance of going upfront than Sinclair :D.

The decision to recall him makes sense. He's a better option up front than Newbold, who is currently getting on our bench every week. Plus Davies hasn't had the chance to see Sinclair play yet so it will give him the chance to watch him and decide whether to get rid or not.

He's obviously done OK at Mansfield, seeing they wanted to extend his loan and he was also named in the League 2 team of the week for the end of January.

Personally I don't think he will make it at Championship level. He's been far from convincing on his first team appearances. However, he is still a young player and proved himself was excellent in our reserve team. Maybe Davies will see some potential in him.

This is exactly what i was thinking. Newbold seems out of sorts, Sinclair is more experience (though not much) for first team/sub duties.

Don't these so-called fans who just slag off one player after another make you sick ? Go and support another team that spends money on has-beens and money grabbers if that's what you're looking for, but leave my club alone !
