Email from forest

It seems the powers that be would like some atmosphere tonight, and why wouldn't they. I for one am pleased to see that they acknowledge that we have an effect.

For those of you that like me, that have received an email from Nottingham Forest encouraging an atmosphere tonight - notice that the crowd in the photo are STANDING UP.

If the powers that be would like an atmosphere tonight, then let us get on with creating one and don't go throwing people out for trying to do so - like in the photo they sent us.

You reds!!!!!!!!!

Basically they don't want all those morons who start moaning if we haven't scored after 10 minutes or after the first bad pass to start moaning and get on the players backs because we play shit when that happens.

Call me crazy, but what did the email say?

You don't need to stand up to sing or create an atmosphere!

Standing up allows greater lung capacity and opens the vocal chords meaning you can be louder for longer.

You Can Play Your Part

Billy Davies has urged Nottingham Forest's fans to help "drive the club" to Wembley.

The City Ground is a complete sell-out for this evening's Championship semi-final second leg against Blackpool.

The Reds must over-turn a 2-1 deficit from the first leg if they are to progress to the final and boss Davies believes the fans can play a hugely significant role.

He told us: "We will give the opposition the respect they deserve like we have done all season but at the same time, we want a cauldron of noise from the Forest fans from the start to the finish."

"We want that irrespective of whether we score the first three goals or Blackpool score the first."

"The supporters have to keep behind the team and individual players and over the course of the game we'll do all we can to try and make sure they've got a nice trip to Wembley to look forward to."

"The fans always have helped us, irrespective of what position we're in and the score."

"They've got to be very supportive and very loud tonight and drive the club into the final."

"That's how important they can be. What we will do is make sure we are well prepared to put an away side under immense pressure from the first to last minute."

But then pisses off anyone sat behind who for one reason or another (age/medical) can not stand all the time!

Then I'm biased as on Friday I was in one of the QMC operating theatres and whilst my dedication that I will be there tonight I aint going to be able to stand for long periods!
