Sorry if this one has already been done but somebody who reckons he knows people in the know (I know, I hate them too) says that Forest have made enquiries about Elliott Ward. So another name to add to the rumour pot!

It's the same guy who told me about Shaun Barker a few weeks back, before the Derby/Forest tug of war for him came out.

Would be a good signing I think. Coventry are on the slide so could possibly pick him up quite cheap.

We already have better players at the club, why waste money?

We need to concentrate on bringing quality to the club now not others mediocre cast offs.

He might have filled a gap for a Calderwood side but he is not good enough for Davies's ambitions.
