NOTTINGHAM Forest FC still want to sign Coventry City FC centre-back Elliott Ward, according to online speculation.

Vitalfootball reports that Forest boss Billy Davies remains keen on landing Ward, who is currently sidelined with injury.

Ward has made 108 appearances for the Sky Blues since his £1m switch from West Ham United FC in 2006.

That might be why!

Still, he's pretty good. And was worth 1 million at one point. And even if he is only the height of Wes (who isn't really that small), that doesn't necessarily mean he's crap in the air.
