This kind of leads me onto a point I was thinking about the other day when I was listening to a podcast the other day about needing our midfielders to weigh in with more goals.

If we continue with our current style of play then the midfielders won't be weighing in with many more goals. There's not enough possession and the chances are created through the quick transition which inevitably means that it's the front 3 that will score the overwhelming bulk.

I broadly agree with this. Anderson isn’t the quickest either to set off with in my opinion. Part of the reason I see him as a sitting #6 type more.
