Not if he has a storming World CupThere's bugger all chance we get more than 80m
There was/will never be any doubt that it will be EM's personal mission to conduct negotiations on behalf of NFFC, regardless of what Ellliot's agent and the people in Abu Dhabi might desire. I wouldn't be at all surprised if one or more of the European giants might be involved if he sufficiently impresses at the WC.Just read Marinakis will personally deal with a potential departure for Anderson. Good luck to the Manchester teams.
For this reason I think the teams really keen on him will want to get a deal sorted beforehand. Fitness permitting he will be a major success at the World Cup.be at all surprised if one or more of the European giants might be involved if he sufficiently impresses at the WC.
If one of his prospective suitors amongst the cartel, or abroad, is prepared to meet EM's valuation then I expect that is possible. However, the MEN report suggests that Manchester City want a cut-price deal. For this reason I think the teams really keen on him will want to get a deal sorted beforehand. Unfortunately that's the position most clubs are in now due to the ridiculous nature of PSR.I agree with the Captain. The key to the valuation will be our PSR position. If we need to complete a sale by 30 June, then I’m afraid we are in a much weaker negotiating position. In that scenario, Man City or someone else could well get him on the cheap.
If that is the case, then as with Brennan, we can argue all we want about how unfair the rules are, but the club has allowed itself to be in this position again. Any club relying on a sale in June to stay on the right side of PSR will always risk not getting full value for their players. Lets not forget, that’s how we got Anderson from Newcastle and offloaded Vlach in the first place.

They've all got deadlines to sell players by in order to meet the rules.
I can't see how that scene ends in any other way than the tasty end of a fountain sticking out of an agents eye and a laptop jammed up a City execs arse.I know we're biased but if you consider his stats, age, position etc. and look at recent sale figures in the prem I genuinely think he's a player in the £100m bracket, would love to see the cctv coverage of the negotiations with EM and the cartel weasels
Agreed, but other clubs (e.g. Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth) sell and then reinvest in line with their available headroom so they never seem to flirt with PSR. As a result, they generally get good value for their players.Unfortunately that's the position most clubs are in now due to the ridiculous nature of PSR.

I like to imagine Marinakis dabbing the corners of his mouth with a napkin after he's devoured another agent and CEO in a transfer negotiation.I can't see how that scene ends in any other way than the tasty end of a fountain sticking out of an agents eye and a laptop jammed up a City execs arse.
From next season they assess them after each window, in March & October. So there won't be anymore ridiclous made up deadlines that have no impact at all on the season. It will be based on the full transfer window, but twice instead of just over a full season.Unfortunately that's the position most clubs are in now due to the ridiculous nature of PSR.

Me too.The only realistic way I see him staying is if we win the Europa League, and even then it's unlikely if Man City are willing to meet our asking price. We'll have to get a big sale on the books this summer just to keep the PSR wheels moving.
I'd be surprised if we accept anything under £80m in those circumstances.
Those cartel weasels will no doubt be thrown by the sight of John Textor in a gimp suit, chained to the fax machine.I know we're biased but if you consider his stats, age, position etc. and look at recent sale figures in the prem I genuinely think he's a player in the £100m bracket, would love to see the cctv coverage of the negotiations with EM and the cartel weasels
I still find it hard to believe we pulled that double off. Result......, that’s how we got Anderson from Newcastle and offloaded Vlach in the first place.
Say hello to my little friends...I can't see how that scene ends in any other way than the tasty end of a fountain sticking out of an agents eye and a laptop jammed up a City execs arse.
