Elliot Junior Anderson OF ENGLAND!

He played really, really well last night but I also thought he looked knackered. Which is understandable.

He’s our key man but we have to find him some rest.
He’s that important at the minute I think the only way we will manage it is if we manage his minutes in games down from 90 to 60 or 70.

He has played an awful lot of football already this season.

That’s the worry though isn’t it? He can’t play 3 games a week. He’s going to burn out.

I’m sure Dyche gets that and will find him some rotation. Especially if Luiz can find some fitness. A Luiz and Sangare pairing would work well.

Seen some articles speculating his fee "might be as high" as £55M, probably on the basis of that is what the barcodes paid for Elanga. Get to f***.

Sure he's a Newcastle lad but if he stayed there he'd still be struggling for game time. He'll be moving on for sure when it suits him but for a more prestigious team than Newcastle United and not for £55 f***ing million.

Ratcliffe United can f*** the f*** off too.
Yeah that’s how it works, if a player is from Whitley bay you only have to pay half his value!! I think the Newcastle boat has sailed now there are genuinely huge clubs in for him. You’d think Newcastle would lump money in other areas if they were going to, CM is their strongest area surely.

If we are playing 2 CM deeper we have some good options now. He can definitely be afforded a rest now and then.

Newcastle can publicly suck his nob all they want, his next move won’t be to Newcastle.

Personally, I think the public woo’ing from Howe in particular is just to cover his own back for letting him go over the likes of Miley, he is claiming he had no choice but to let him go - when it was a massive cock up by them.

With still 3 years left on his contract after this season - if he continues to play like he is doing and has a good WC, i wouldn't entertain anything less than £100m and if EM decides to sell than we let the bidding take place and everything is on our terms.

Different story if he only had 2 years left but Forest hold all the cards on this one.

It's tricky, he's that important to us, he has to start every game when he's fit. If we had another win on the board in the EL, you could perhaps rest him for one of those, but we're still playing a bit of catch up (in terms of aiming for top 8). I am surprised he wasn't subbed the moment that 2nd goal went in. He does seem very resilient though. I think he recovers very well. Isn't starting games fatigued.

This conjures up all kinds of horrible images.

One being Eddie Howe on his hands and knees......

I never rated Declan Rice. Always thought he was overrated. However, these past 18 months I think he’s turned into a fantastic footballer. How he gets around that pitch for Arsenal….and contributes significantly to their goals tally is incredible.

Anderson isn’t that fully rounded player yet….yet…lads got a couple of years development to go, Dyche all but alluded to that last night. But the foundation is there.

No way we could ever sell low on Anderson. He literally has the potential to be a key starting international player for the next decade.

He's contracted until 2029. After the MGW/Spurs shenanigans in the summer, I can't believe people think EM's just gonna let him trot back to Newcastle any time soon.

Unless we got shafted with some silly buyback/release clause......................

I think we're all accepting that someone will leave in the summer for PSR purposes, especially after it's cost us to keep changing managers. It wouldn't surprise me if we went in for a left back in January either.

But Anderson will have 3 years left on his deal by the summer so we'll call the shots. If he does leave it's for astronomical money so we don't lose either way.

So far EM has make some great player sales, giving us very good returns, I doubt he will be even entertaining any offers of 75 million this season.
Summer transfer window is where the money is, even then it has to be 1.5 Elangas, minimum.

Think Arsenal will be in for him if he plays with Rice at the WC and they play well together (again)

Man United don’t have a chance in hell along with Newcastle.
