Elliot Anderson

Yeah maybe hype is the wrong word. But there is some sort of backing for him from within the game that seems over and above what he has achieved. Hes got two of the biggest jobs in English football off the back of getting a parachute team and a favourite for promotion promoted from the championship.
I think many Leicester fans found his football boring despite gaining promotion.

Happens a lot. Kompany being a prime example - although it’s harder to fail with Bayern than a premier league team

Maresca doesn’t have anything like enough experience for a big job like that. Of the jobs he has had, anyone half decent would have got that Leicester team promoted, and nothing much happened for him at Chelsea.

He might succeed, but it’s a massive roll of the dice by City.
I dunno.

He was in the City setup for years. He did a much better job at Chelsea than those before & after him - so he does have experience of a big job.

I think it's a reasonable sound appointment looking at it more.

Is it just me that doesn't rate Fernandez?
I think he’s a better player than Anderson personally. Caveat being he’s Argentine and not very nice etc etc etc

Anderson will prove to be very functional at the top level…Maybe he gets to that Declan Rice level of goals/assist, maybe not.

£116m will prove to be fantastic business for Forest in my opinion, and that’s no slight because I rated him here, but not as much a MGW in our relegation scrap, not even close.

I think the only way his valuation goes now is down, £116m being the Zenith.
Actually, I predict that transfer vvalues will fall like autumn leaves in upper New York state.
