That was nice. 🥲

Still wish it wasn't Shitty. I wish him good luck for the other 36 games though, and in the CL of course. I wonder, will Forest ever be a "big 6" kind of club, those that people expect to be able to keep their top and prime-age players for as long as they want? Who knows.

I mean, you sort of expect this but he does present himself as a proper, grounded, down to earth young man.

And that’s good to see.

Well we would have to triple our Revenue to ever compete with Big 6.
Villa aint managed it yet, nor have newcastle and both have been in europe for the 3 out of the last 4 seasons or there abouts. Think to get that revenue it will take a prolonged concerted effort competing in europe. Also the fact spurs and united are still getting top 6 revenue after not being thereabouts for 2 or 3 seasons shows how hard its going to be to break in.

It's basically impossible now. You might get the odd season where a Sky 6 team struggles and a surprise team does well but then they're picked apart by the big boys. Look at Hearts, that was their one shot.

Leicester won the league and then lost half their team over the next couple of seasons to the big boys.

Getting there is difficult. Staying there though and establishing yourself as an elite club is impossible.

The only way it's possible is to win trophies continually for a number of years because that's what gets you the overseas supporters in their millions and that's what you need to bring in the really big cash.

Unfortunately a club would need the really big cash in order to win trophies continually for a number of years, so essentially it's a closed shop. You can get the odd team look like the might break in but it isn't going to be sustainable.

Unpopular opinion but I hate players leaving saying they love Forest

If you love Forest that much then you wouldn't leave would you

That said, fantastic player of whom it was a privilege to watch in the Garibaldi

It's just a job to these lads. The sooner fans understand that the easier it is to accept when they leave or dont want to join.

You can enjoy your job and workmates all you want but anyone would move if someone came in and offered 5/6x your salary to do the same job.

Yes I know all that

It just seems disingenuous

Just watching that leaving video of him-he is absolute class as a player and a person. Tuchel tactics stifled him and it’s such a shame we didn’t really see the full Anderson at World Cup, as we know if given a bit freedom can absolutely be the best player on the park and wow fans.
Alongside Bellingham he was England's best player by a long way in nearly every game. Considering the Rogers fee Citeh have got a bargain, which is staggering to think.
