I would say that there's exactly zero chance that's true.

This is probably nonsense right? But as others have said the amount depends a lot on how the deal is constructed. If we are getting £116m up front, that’s very similar to, say, £130m payable over 4 years with a 5% discount rate.

Forest have announced they have agreed the fee and that the loose ends will be tied up after the World Cup.
There has been no announcement, as far as I know, from the Cheaty end of Anderson signing being finalised.
If this tale had even the remotest vagueness of truth about it then not only will the plug will be pulled at the Forest end immediately, but other clubs would treat Cheaty with the utmost suspicion in future.
It's not worth doing it from the Cheaty side.
