In fairness I did say "someone like this". I wasn't necessarily pointing directly at EG, but was rather intimating we need someone like him. McKenna has gone IMO and I just feel we need someone with a pair in midfield, someone who will boss the game. The person I was thinking about foremost in my memory is David Prutton when he was at his prime with us.

Darren Pratley would be ideal for this role, which is why we've targeted him.

However Forest seem unwilling to pay the current "market rate" for such a player, so we'll be unlikely to see his like in a Forest shirt (sadly).
