Why are we not going for someone like this? Surely he would be a great season loan for us. Lots of experience and classy IMO.

If we were not prepared to pay Shoreys £25k a week wages we won't even attempt to pay Eidur's wage of £50k a week wages.

bloody hell is this a serious question? forest are as tight as a nuns chuff or has this transfer window not made you realise this ? no way on earth would they want to shell out on his wages.

Actually, I didnt realise he was on so much. Thought it would be around 20k. And would be have to pay the full amount? I was under the impression that such loans were agreed on a percentage basis with 100% not being the norm...

but ye, can see what you mean if he is on 50k.

Yeah it's a lot of housekeeping money!

Housekeeping? I'm assuming thats a slur on me being a woman? Some attempt at being funny? Go outside and get your penis wet once in a while. Then come back with a new stand-up routine, then maybe, just maybe I'll laugh my tits off!

hahaha! Really harsh if you've misinterpreted that lol

I love it when you talk dirty... :hey:

To be fair, its not that bad a suggestion.. He is the type of player that we need, because he is a good attacking midfielder and can score goals as well as set them up, I think that is what we are lacking at the minute.

Rangers were after him recently - http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/footba...n-loan-deal-was-a-non-starter-86908-22473318/ But that went to pop because he was demanding £40k a week in wages. I don't know if that means £40k was his total wages or whether that was the proportion that Rangers would have to provide. But even so, he would still cost Forest around the £30k a week mark at least.

I think if we get Pratley we will be pretty much sorted for the midfield, but what we need to do is scout around the lower leagues and try to find another future Raddy, to add to the reserves/ bench.. There must be some talent out there that we can pick up for <£100k and stick them on a grand a week or something?? Thats the AP's job right?!?!

Also, I think he might be on his way to Stoke http://www.thisisstaffordshire.co.u...udjohnsen/article-2583323-detail/article.html

It may also be a youngster - you are thus setting a bad example by encouraging and endorsing promiscuous behavior.

Sorry Emaa - Nothing sexist about this, but that is an outrageous suggestion. Nearly as good as the Beckham ones a few months back. You are suggesting a player that was very recently at one of the biggest clubs in the world. (Bolton)

we should try and tempt henrik larsson out of retirement

In fairness I did say "someone like this". I wasn't necessarily pointing directly at EG, but was rather intimating we need someone like him. McKenna has gone IMO and I just feel we need someone with a pair in midfield, someone who will boss the game. The person I was thinking about foremost in my memory is David Prutton when he was at his prime with us.

For me Raddy is too light weight, and from the Polish interviews I've listened to (I speak Polish) I kind of get the impression he thinks he is too good now. We lack creativity and drive in midfield.

we are not man utd ffs!
