Re your ticket allocation for Nottingham Forest Fans i feel as part of a Forest Fans forum i should fell that i should raise a few questions:

Regarding to reports from Nottingham Forest is that yourselves have only gave us an initial allocation of 2,800 if this is true why have you issused such a low ticket allocation?

Nottingham Forest gave your fans an allocation of around 4,400 in which 4,376 were sold so i was wondering why you can't match such demand? In The Fa Cup last season we took 5,034 to Pride Park so therefore you can manage such amount of fans then compare that to the League game in November 2008 at Pride Park we sold our allocation of a paltry 2,766.Then in return for the Fa Cup Replay and the League game we then gave you 4,316 and 4,206 for the League game.

The demand of ticket is pretty high for the second season now for a League game at Pride Park you have gave us a very very poor ticket allocation and had left some Forest fans facing the prospect of having no chance getting a ticket even though they own season tickets,

Many Thanks

At the CG in Aug we didn't sell out our home allocation if I remember correctly? That is probably why they got so many seats. If they can sell all of their tickets, why would they give the away fans more than they need to?

I don't know what you expect back from them?

They wont give us anymore than 2800 purely because the more Reds there are, the more intimidated they will become, they will be thinking the more rams fans in the stadia, the better their chances.

They will sell out themselves, just because of who they are playing, so no need to allocate more than need be.

We did because even the last 2 blocks of Cloughie Lower was sold out.

Like i have said i have sent on the behalf of the ones that won't get a ticket i most likely get nothing just want to know the reason of a low ticket allocation.

The police wouldn't permit Forest to put mixed fans in the Lower Bridgford with segregation as they would against less antagonistic opponents.

Which means that Forest really would be cutting their nose off to spite their face in reducing the allocation.

Whereas one of the (very few) advantages of playing in a flatpacked soulless bowl is that they can adjust the access and segregation to mean they can still put home fans in the sections nearest the away fans.

Since Derby have the facilities to do this, I begrudgingly don't blame them for giving the best possible advantage to their own supporters. Quite the opposite to the attitude Forest have shown in the past by offering the whole Bridgford End to Leicester fans for the cup game we didn't really care that much about, and offering Wolves T Block basically meaning we laid on a promotion party for them.

I do, I'm afraid, admire Derby's selfish stance on this. Of course they could handle a bigger away allocation - but why should they (aside from the fact we actually pay for tickets, of course ;) ).

Rather than emailing Derby, you should be emailing Forest saying that next year we shouldn't be so generous with how many tickets we allocate them.

You can't really blame Derby for wanting as few of us there as possible, it can only disadvantage them.

Actually don't waste your time emailing Forest, after the 30th we'll never play Derby again. ;D

we will outplay, outclass and outsing the souless sheep shaging pricks anyway so wouldn't worry, 1 forest fan is better than the entire miserable shit hole they call derby

At the end of the day having another 2,000 fans there isn't going to make any difference to what happens on the pitch. What matters is the ability of the players, we're better than them in pretty much every respect so therefore we are likely to win :)

Well if Derby sold out their allocation, and there were more than a thousand less than attended the Newcastle game, it suggests we didnt.

Would have been more segregation against Derby.

Bigger by a thousand more seats than the Newcastle game?

People seem quite vehemently sure, however I thought the Derby game wasnt a complete sell out?

Not fussed either way, just knew people who got tickets together on the day.

Does it mean that we have a better stadium as we are able to host more away fans? :)
