Marinakis' passionate actions only endear him to me more.

I'm not really one for rules or conforming, and I don't really care who we upset tbh. Breaking things like FFP sticks in the throat because the repercussions impact us, but looking after Forest people when they're obviously struggling like the Awoiniyi situation is leadership of the highest order, regardless of whoever in the media wants to cry about it.

I just hope EM follows this all up with a statement stating that Gary Neville is a bumeye.

Genuinely the amount of Non-Forest fans commenting about our owner when it has nothing to do with them is pathetic.
Some believe he isn't our owner because he put us in a blind trust. Especially Villa fans - They have shown there true colours this season.

EM sticks up for the club when he feels others are attacking it. If it rubs people the wrong way then so be it. I couldn't be more pleased we have an owner that fights our corner instead of sulks in the shadows.

Neville & Carragher are big gobs, we & everyone else knows that & half the football public are sick of them. But I think the difference between the two is Neville has a grudge.

To be fair Villa fans have history with EM. They were knocked out the Conference League by Olympiacos & took offence to him celebrating. I know petty, but that is the reason they don't like him.

So you aren't allowed to celebrate? Interesting.

I kinda get it... If Toad Boehley goes on the City Ground pitch on the final day & celebrates Chelsea winning it would get on my nerves.

It's petty & being a bad loser, but it's one of the reasons they hold a grudge against him

Marinakis was clearly in a heightened state of frustration at the final whistle for lots of reasons. But the fact that he did not engage with Nuno until Nuno said something suggests that his intended target was someone else. Not clear from the clips I’ve seen who that was, but definitely not Nuno.

100% this. A lot of the narrative (from media and fans), is that Marinakis went on the pitch to berate Nuno. He clearly didn’t.

FA cup final yesterday and the occasional obvious offside was flagged straight away by the linesman.
Maybe, just maybe, things are changing.

Actually good to see for both injury issues and the good of the game in general.

It happens all the time - don't expect consistency.

Wasn't sure where else to put this.

I expect they'll find a way around this, not least because the most obvious team to replace Palace in the Europa could well be.... Nottingham 'definitely not owned by Olympiakos owner' Forest.

The thing is, though, legally we're NOT owned by the same bloke who owns Olympiakos

There is a deadline for changing ownership criteria in this regard.

We changed our setup BEFORE the deadline.......

And if the authorities say "well...a few days doesn't matter" then let's talk about the few days we were the wrong side of the PSR line and got points taken off....

I'm still so bitter about those points.

In fact, considering they were supposed to definitely, 100% be getting the Man City thing dealt with this year and then didn't, we should be asking them for those points back before the season ends I reckon.

We already have, some weeks ago Forest was legitimately placed into a blind trust. There's no issues whatsoever if we qualify in the same competition

I take all these points. But it still wouldn’t be a good look for UEFA if we specifically end up in there at Palace’s expense. Hopefully we can beat Chelsea and its a moot point.

Although I agree with what you are saying, wouldn't allowing Palace to compete be down to UEFA and not the PL?

What I find confusing is, how would they decide who isn't allowed to compete between Palace and Lyon?
I mean, it was always assumed that, pre-blind-trust, if we qualified we wouldn't be allowed to compete but Oly would. But couldn't it have been that Oly weren't allowed to compete and we were?

Think it says in the article the lower placed team in their respective league gets booted out- ie Palace. Like I say I think they’ll sort it out regardless. Also PSG need to win the french cup yet for it to become an issue.

They play Reims, they're not messing that up.

Very easy to decide really, since the beginning of time there has only been one truly fair way.
