I get it constantly as I work from Carlisle to London obviously conversation always gets to football and the amount of times I get you need to be careful of that owner of yours he will destroy your club.
No the owners that treat the clubs as cash grabs destroy clubs yes hes passionate but really cares he owns rectifies his mistakes we are lucky to have him
When 95% of the attention is on the top 6, sports journos trying to span all 20 PL clubs are just happy to find a narrative that sticks for the other 16 and run with it. This one has been reenforced to such a degree that most non Forest fans have just accepted it. Same as Crystal Palace being full of world class players, Eze being hot shit and Big Dan Burn being the most beautiful story since Jane Eyre.

What f***er wants some?
He was merely rehearsing for the performance of a Greek tragedy at Epidauros.

European final vs. meaningless match: a no brainer. He was at the basketball game, where he celebrated a European cup by engaging into a fist fight with the nephew of our prime minister, a very shady guy who basically ran the government until he had to step down due to an illegal wire-tapping scandal. The two men exchanged not very polite words, the security detail of both men got involved, and the result was that EM's t-shirt got torn. There are pictures, but they are not very flattering (he has gained weight again).😋
There's a video doing the rounds of EM wading in aggressively, before security got involved.

Do like a man that gets "passionate" and won't back down. I dare say that our media will catch up with this, and use it against him.

You have to love the big lad, you really do.

Absolutely does not give a f***, won't back down from anyone, and he's as mad as a box of frogs!

It is certainly never boring with him around.

"...in the top one"

terms and conditions apply...
John Percy has an excellent summary of the season.

Looking forwards, we are lucky to have EM. He puts it all on "red" whayever he does - brawling or owning!

"...........Marinakis remains intent on driving this club on. He will not accept any complacency, and his winning mentality was evident at Villa Park earlier this month.

Despite a number of injuries to key players, he was very frustrated with the 4-0 defeat in the Europa League semi-final second leg. He felt it was still a big opportunity missed. It will be at least another 16 months until Forest can operate in Europe again, and he wants that to be the norm every season."

Red in tooth and claw...one for 'forza' to think about.

We HATE the Villa
Passion is great and we all love the big man for it

You never want to see passion spill over into physical violence like that though, and I appreciate I am not Greek, have never been to Greece and know sod all about Greek culture

But if that ever happened the City Ground I'd be ashamed, quite honestly

It’s made the BBC now, which I’m sure they’re very excited about. A very topline write up that he got in a fight, without any context given. Followed by a list of things they don’t like from his Forest tenure, without any mitigating context given. Fuel on fire. And where there’s smoke there’s a lazy journo scoring a cheap point with an easy narrative.

I f***ing love this fella. Our very own Tony Soprano and he’s far better than some faceless corporation or a dodgy nation state - long may he reign at Forest
I agree. At this level all owners are dubious af. Ours has a determination to never accept second best and a legit passion for his clubs, Forest included. I'm all for that, and even though he's made mistakes he's not dawdled in trying to remedy them.

It looks like the other guy spit on him, EM slapped him, and the other guy threw a punch and tore EM's shirt. All very juvenile for a business tycoon and a guy who literally ran the government.
To be fair to the other guy (scumbag though he may be), the spitting seems to have followed the slap (new videos keep popping up).
