Fuming when i watched Keane spout absolute bollocks yet again on this mornings episode. Not that it matters a jot, but i'm a big fan of Roy because of the fact that i'm Irish, that he was absolutely superb for the club i love and the small matter of him going above and beyond for me in person when i was 10-12 years old, from sitting me down away from a crowd upon learning i was a Forest fan in a pub (where he showed Begbie like traits when Liverpool fans were winding him up, empty pint glass cocked in hand ready to go) or organising me to be Forests mascot when they played my hometown club in the summer of 1992. Honestly, incredible gestures from an incredible player.

But his biggest flaw is that once he has a bone to pick with you, he's like an XL Bully with it. Once you cross a mate or former teammate you are done to him. So because he wanted to "help Martin out" knowing that he would leave in the summer, he immediately took umbrage with the Big Man for sacking Martin without even considering the fact that the football he helped Martin to serve up was atrocious muck, the very type they served up when at the helm of the Irish national team.

Then picking on Yates by calling him an idiot for saying "thats how football goes" after Ange got the boot, not a bit of nuance to say "you know what, if a lad like Yatesy is saying that, maybe just maybe, things weren't right behind closed doors with Ange" - but nah thats too simplistic for Keane. If i was sitting at that table with him i'd have asked him why he never mentions the fact that he got relegated with Forest and pushed for a move out of the club when he's a man who talks about loyalty like he has the word trademarked.

Why were you praising Buffon for staying with Juve when they got relegated Roy? You didn't do it, Psycho did, you didn't. And Psycho had his England squad position to worry about in a World Cup year, don't even dare go there with saying you needed to be playing top flight to secure your Irish position for the 94 World Cup. You were like every other footballer, ambitious and wanted out as soon as possible.

Whats interesting about this is he now finds himself in the position of hating the Big Man, calling anyone who takes the job "an idiot" because "leopards don't change their spots - HA" yet one of his closest mates Loughy (Tony Loughran) who was his assistant at Sunderland and Ipswich, also someone he has been mates with since they met at Forest has joined our backroom staff alongside his other good mates Dychey, Woany and Stoney, the only missing lad from that group is "Keaney" believe it or not.

I could write a f***ing Bible chapter on the hypocrisy and fascinating psychological world of Roy Keane but i won't. He's still an icon of mine, still someone worth listening to for many different reasons, but not when it concerns a situation where he or his mates have been slighted - notice, his real hatred and nasty comments about Forest came after Neville got banned, and once you cross that line he very rarely retreats. Now he's got even more mates in the club.....it'll be fascinating to see if he changes his tune should Dychey and the lads get us firing again.

As for Neville - Twat with a capital T, no need to mention another word on that clown.

I was there in London the night that he did that. Can’t for the life of me remember, but I think it was at Highbury. Maybe at Stamford Bridge. Or maybe I dreamed it, it was so long ago.

Forest could do far, far, worse for an owner. A man who absolutely is prepared to step up if needed.

Chapeau, Big Lad.

You know what mate, it's not just Forest but the PL on the whole.

Football at the end of a day is a f***ing sport, if it stopped tomorrow the world would still spin. A few owners do a fair bit of good but none to the extent of Marinakis in my opinion.

And Marinakis offers a lot more to the wider community, this constant hounding of him is really missing the bigger picture of what he does. If he decides to pack up and sell, football and forest will carry on, but all the extras you get with Marinakis most likely won't.

This guy is a multi billionaire, one of the most successful people in his field, but I feel he's quite a humble guy and I think a lot of this comes from him being Greek as it's in their culture and also quite religious.

He always does things for the poor and less fortunate as we've seen in the last couple of years but this easily gets overlooked, it's a terrible attitude especially in this day and age with the world doing down the pan.

He certainly does have a very generous and understanding side to him which the media seem to ignore.

I don’t think he takes kindly to anyone harming him or badmouthing any of the things he holds dear. I could be wrong but didn’t he totally pull the plug of any loans to Notts County when Alan Hardy started gobbing off

We are so fortunate to have EM.
He also loves the club and won’t be selling us no matter what. He is in it for good

The headline on the sports page and the article itself it appallingly badly worded and spends more time talking about Marinakis than it does about Palace and the banner that Palace supporters showed
