There's some class strikers in the Championship to be fair. One that stands out is that South American chap, Ben Brereton Diaz.

Latest from Sky Sports News' Ben Ransom:
Manchester City are hopeful of concluding a deal for Porto midfielder Nico Gonzalez.
It’s understood talks are ongoing this morning over the fee.
Sky Sports News has previously reported that City do not want to meet the midfielder’s £42m (£50m) release clause.
Gonzalez has been included in the Porto squad to face Rio Ave tonight.

Said this when he was first linked, If he brings Lehmann in as well next season when the womens window re opens that would be huge for the profile of the womens team

With them looking like a good bet to secure promotion and already gone full time, I would imagine that one of the next steps is actively trying to raise the profile of the women's team.

I know nothing about women's football except for how a couple of them look.

But ability wise,how big is the gap between Div 1(Lehmann) & Div 3(Forest currently) in comparison to the Premierleague & League One?

From my understanding, bigger.

Hell, the gap even within each league is bigger. Just look at the table for the league Forest are in.

Preferred option: Brazilian Ronaldo when he was 24
Second best option: someone similar to Taiwo
Third best option: someone with 2 legs and a pulse

In this position we need another body, and if we can’t get anyone good, someone pub level is better than nothing

There is absolutely no point in signing someone who is not -- or does have the obvious potential to be -- of PL standard. Cluttering up the squad with mediocrity makes no sense and sends the wrong signal to our existing players. I'm confident the club has no intention of doing it.

Far from a given that we will get promoted either. Wolves drawing yesterday helped but a massive game coming up against them in a couple of weeks.

I see that at Ipswich the penny has finally dropped that Janet Muric is a liability they can't keep on allowing to let in soft goals if they are to survive.
They have bought West Brom's goalie, who looks a much safer pair of hands and feet.
Mind you, our Weimaraner could do a better job than Muric, to be fair.

Ipswich would have more chance with this fellow in goal than Muric.

I would agree, but it does feel like the moment has already passed for Dennis even as a last resort option.

We could have named him in the squad for the first part of the season, but instead chose:
- Danilo, who we knew had zero chance of playing during that time.
- Sangare, who's injury may have been less clear but ultimately ended up not playing either.
- An empty spot, presumably held in case we needed to bring in a 3rd keeper.

We've got even more "space" in the 25 right now, but that doesn't mean we have to or will use it.
