it seems ND has been giving more of his money away this summer

'Labour is also receiving money from financiers - Sir Ronald Cohen, close to Gordon Brown, has given another quarter of a million pounds, along with Nigel Doughty a private equity man.'

it would be great if it prevented us from having a Tory government next year, but i don't think it will :(

I usually like Big Nige but I wish he'd stop this labour backing, now is the time for a Tory government.

It just shows you what a good job Blair did for 9 years, perhaps it was his Schmoozing (PS I bloody love that word!)

there's never a time for a Tory government!

There is and it's usually following a Labour one to sort everything out again before people think the grass is greener again and allow Labour to come in and f*** us all once more.

The country's fine, don't know what all the fuss is about. Having said that last month I had to have vegetable curry as I didn't want to pay over £6 for some chicken breasts.

Don't want to give you a history lesson but i would suggest you read something about the state of the countries finances before Labour took power from the Tories in 64, or the mess Norman Lamount got us into in 92. The idea that the Conservatives control the economy any better than Labour is false.

What do Brian Clough and Nigel Doughty have in common? both Labour and that's good enough for me :-*

He's a business man, this probably has bugger all to do with politics, and everything to do with greasing the wheels of our pathetic excuse for a democracy in some way. Tory and Labour are the same old crap, they're not much more than fronts for big business and the EU. Don't kid yourselves.

Kris Commons, Robbie Savage and The Devil are Labour, especially the devil.

I got into a few political debates on the internet before and it leads to hours and hours of wasted time with nobody changing their mind or enshrouding themself in glory so I'm stepping out of this right now.

..... And heading for the Camp v Smith thread.

They should start first by sorting that NHS idea out, ridiculous. Then on to more recent Labour initiatives such as the minimum wage, or the winter fuel allowance. These initiatives are f***ing over millions of people and we need uncle David to come and sort them out. After all an Oxbridge Etonian is bound to be the ideal candidate when it comes the matters.

just what i was thinking :D but i'd wager that Commons would vote Tory if Cameron took him out to Frankie and Benny's.

But i doubt the devil would support the minimum wage, spend billions on international aid and implement a national health service. But he might go to war in Iraq and employ Peter Mandelson :D

Didn't Labour precide over the first ever recorded instance of Stagflation?

They're all as bad as each other.
