At the end of the day it depends on what MU wanted to do by loaning him out. He seems not to want to stay there, so next season you would imagine he would be loaned out and sold again. So it seems they could have had the choice of loaning out DH to either persuade us to buy him or increase his resale value (if they thought we weren't offering enough) by having him play another season in the PL.
Given that we have no claim over the player after this season it's possible the club already has lists of potential keeper signings for whichever division we are in.
Obviously 2 things have changed regarding DH in recent weeks and the semi final along with injury has probably pushed the search forwards into this window.
We were also apparently keen on DL in the summer but chose not to in the end.
I can't see a bigger club taking a chance on him because so far he's not played outside of Croatia at club level. So it will likely be a stepping stone for him anyway and the player has resale value. He'd probably also cost less than Henderson and is a better keeper.
Can already see the situation where we bring in DL, KN or someone else as first choice making Hendo sub when he's back and not doing much in the 2nd half of the season when there have been plenty of opportunities for MU not to have played hardball over him.

I agree with above, for the €10m I would get it done.
He would get his chance to be number 1 and replicate what we saw in the WC. if he’s good enough then it’s one less headache in the summer.

I think that would be almost inconceivable given that Hendo said he would never play for Man Utd ever again after the way he was treated and wanted out - you'd think from the way he's acted that he loves it at Forest and I think we'd want to take option to buy if offered but who knows .
Is it possible that the changes at Man Utd might cause a change of heart, maybe, but I can't see us trying to offload.

Absolute no brainer. I am amazed no other club has gone in for him. Why him playing in the Croatian league his entire career is any sort of issue I do not understand. get him in pronto. Also, imho, an upgrade on Hendo.

Navas is avery good keeper, but this guy, for me, far better suited to the English game and at his age would be a huge coup for us. Again, amazed someone has not bought him after Qatar.

Not surprised, Gunn felt more like a 3rd choice calibre keeper than someone you'd trust to step in if anything happened to Sels. And Nuno being an ex-keeper himself knows his onions in this department, so if he wants another keeper then we need another keeper.

I just watched the highlights and he was fine - might be confusing him with the Turkish lad we looked at.
