Does anyone remember sheep shagging Derby County? (STILL the worst team in history!)

football post

I'm still here Crewton
We've all seen their attendances when they aren't doing well and aren't getting cheap/free tickets. Lets see what they bring in charging full price for a midtable clash against Forest Green Rovers on a Tuesday night.
Sorry Ash I know you posted this a while back but I'm really puzzled by the name Forest Green Rovers; is this a side in one of the United Counties Leagues? It sounds a rather quaint little village, I really ought to pay it a visit.
It's very good of a team with such massive stature from a huge footballing city to arrange a game against such a minnow. Total respect to Derby for this, what a gesture 👏

One less gobshite...
Last time we played lil ol Shrewsbury, a certain D Henderson was in their goal.

Just for reference, Derby are tonight taking on the might of footballing giants...(checks notes)...
Shrewsbury Town.
I expect they've sold the full allocation of away tickets and thousands will also be in the home end.

It's all been a bit high-brow so far, Oxford & Barnsley at home - Charlton away.

They get the full League One experience this week with Shrewsbury & Fleetwood away.
Those two still have decent new grounds though, they need to experience Don Valley/Millmoor levels of fleapit grounds.

75% possession. 2 shots on target.

Early days, etc
I was just speaking to a mate ( a rams fan but he's ok, he's one of the good ones) and I joked that Shrewsbury away is when League 1 begins to bite and he said "give us a chance 90% of that team have only been together for 3 weeks" .... "tell me about it I said - 14 new players and more on the way" there is a bizarre parallel world here albeit for the most opposite of reasons

I miss the days convincing yourself and fellow supporters that a 0-0’draw at Shrewsbury is a good result.
Massive 🙄

I bet Crewton will having a posh w**k in his mam's undies after getting a point away at Shrewsbury.
I didn't think year 7s were capable of that... maybe times have changed

Difficult place to go...intimidating atmosphere...the pitch is a great leveller etc etc

I guess when you are up against a Steve Cotterill side, it’s always going to be tough.
But if they'd scored and the opposition hadn't it would've been a win?

If Jordan thinks its bad now, just wait until they start losing a few of the games against these sort of teams.
