Does anyone remember sheep shagging Derby County? (STILL the worst team in history!)

Just popped over to Mordor and they are talking about extending PP ready for when they get back in the prem and Europe. Must be some strong stuff they've been supping .

They are clearly watching us and seeing that dreams are possible. We serve a great inspiration for them, in 15 years they could even be in our position!

Cashin signed a 2 year deal as well. I think they will add a couple more and the pinnacle will be Davies renewing with Rosenior moving from interim to permanent.

For them it will feel like Christmas but I don't see any other league one teams worried.

Already announcing promotion but haven't got a goalkeeper or first 11 yet.

it’s laughable, the amount paid/owed still on the entire debt hasn’t been announced, which makes me think there’s been a group fisting of creditors,

and within 24 hrs they are signing players up left, right and centre, and rest assured they’ll be paying top whack ( within the limits set by the EFL etc) to drag players in,

football is a bizarre business which frankly I’m understanding less each day.

That's an OK signing for a lower League 1 team trying to fend off relegation.

Barkhuizen makes sense.

He was headed back to L1. Couldn't see any championship team picking him up.

Not the most prolific of forwards.

They are going wild for the keeper they just signed on Twitter. Yet they are literally scraping the barrel.

From the Sheep forum:
“20/21 conceded 26 goals from 18 xGOT conceded, 2nd worst in the Championship. Exits p90 he was 3rd worst.

Beggars can't be choosers but it certainly isn't inspiring.”

Derby seem to have had a lot of 5hite keepers in recent times, long may it continue.

No and on the basis that last year's attack was ranked 20th and despite claims that their defence was one of the best in the division (Actually 11th) its there they need improvements.

They didn't do well last year (As much as history keeps trying to be rewritten) but I do think some successful matches were as a result of teams taking them lightly because they were so far behind rather than them beating teams on merit. Next season it will be different, especially as they are absolutely lording it over their opponents talking about walking the league.

Fair play to them though, with all these additions the squad is looking strong.

Although, it's worth putting asterics on Byrne, Bielik, Bird, Sibley, Buchanan & Knight - as they want to leave. But apart from that, it's looking promising.

Just got to fill the rest of the squad up with frees, even though all the good frees are gone now. They can still build a top side.

I'm with you, I don't understand this. If there is now extra money in the pot, say to pay someone £5k a week, but they only paid their creditors 35p in the pound, shouldn't those creditors be demanding payment in full? Obviously that finishes Derby as a business because they couldn't afford that, but surely it's throwing two fingers up to the people you just screwed over financially?

Signed Mendez-Laing, a player twice banned and once sacked previously for cocaine use, a reserve keeper and a player who to be fair is OK but seems to have massively struggled getting over covid.

Apparently the way these players have been received in mordor, these are the sort of signings Barca should be making if they are serious about winning the champions league.

The extra money is required to run the business so the repayments can be made.

That's literally how the insolvency process is designed. It increases how much the creditors will get.
