does anyone else still feel that we are rubbish?

even tho we are quite clearly not.

we are 4th in the table, playing well and everyones happy......

it just hasn't sunk in yet. for 10 years we have always seem to be struggling somehow. Is it just me or does it feel weird that we might be quite good? we are so used to shit things happening all the time and its strange that there is nothing to complain about.

i dont know what to think anymore.

Once again, I think you're exactly right.

It is hard to comprehend our new-found ability to actually be good at football.

I'm half expecting the bubble to burst any second, but hopefully it can continue for the rest of the season.

Mentioned it a few weeks a go to Rich. I still have no confidence in us going into away games despite our current record. All those years of being shite has really put pay to my faith although it is started to come back

Absolutely right.

We're going into a game next week against a team 2 points ahead of us, however, I keep hearing 'they're third in the league' an thinking to myself 'a point at home is respectable'.

Its best to be pessimistic, that way you won't be disappointed.

I think we'll only win on Saturday by 3 goals

i think Sarah Connor sums it up perfectly.

“The unknown future rolls toward us. I face it for the first time with a sense of hope, because if a machine, a terminator, can learn the value of human life, maybe we can, too.”

Don't worry we only need McKenna to pick up an injury and we will be as shit as ever.

I think that we're rubbish for brief spells. We have about 15 minutes a game where we look clueless, but overall this team is very, very good and we are seeing that in the league table and our unbeaten away record.

So many times in recent seasons, we have turned up to watch Forest, to be undone by mistakes, bad luck, poor quality play, and then forced to listen to the excuses of a series of managers.

Now, for the first time in what seems like years (well, it probably *is* years) we have a manager in charge with the right ideas, who has worked hard with his squad of players (and this is Billy's squad, no doubt about that) and we are now seeing the results, in overwhelmingly positive terms.

Yes, we will no doubt at some stage end the magnificent unbeaten run we're on. But the team is playing with attitude and application, and above all, belief, that they will get something out of every match.

Some were against Billy Davies, some were for him, me, I had splinters in my arse as I was on the fence. But he's more than convinced me he is the right man for the job, not just now, but taking us forward and upwards in to the Premier League.

We might still turn up expecting the wheels to fall off any minute, but I have a sneaking suspicion that isn't going to happen any more!

Which means games against the likes of Man United, Arsenal and Chelsea are only days away!

I'm going to miss Doncaster though, remember when PVH shat on them and we beat them 8-0 in the cup? Those days will be back soon.

I think we are not only a good side but also a very good squad. I hear people talking about "the bubble bursting". It concerns me that just because a team goes through a bad patch then that automatically means a bad team. Every team, sometimes including Championship winning teams go through a dodgy patch. I fully expect it to happen to us at some point. The important thing to remember is that we won't become a bad team overnight. How can we? If we draw a couple or even lose a couple at home then lets not get impatient and frustrated. I firmly believe if we're not quite good enough to go up this year then we certainly will be there or there abouts next year. Lets keep the faith. lets stay positive no matter what. We're on an incredible journey so lets celebrate just that.

Billy and ND might have you singing a different tune if they pull out the stops in January though ;D

Four massive signings to put the finishing touches on our team to make the push, just in time to crush Derby in their own back yard.

I never said we weren't good enough to go up. I said "if" we weren't I'd still be positive and consider us to have a damn good side.

Crap, so you did. Oh well, I just off on a dream boat about sexy signings in January and battering Derby at their gypo Starbucks arena.

Anyway, now we can all look at that sexy pic of Mystic Meg predicting it too! :x

It hasn't really sunk in yet I suppose, still thinking that we could be lucky. Although theoretically we should have beaten WBA and Pool, as well as being annoyed not to have got more from a few away games. It's weird to think we are at least decent again.

It's crazy how far we've come in these last few years.

BUT, I still wish we were more careful and clinical in front of goal. We waste a lot of good chances to shoot and we miss a fair few easy chances to score as well.

No complaints about Doughty, as this is the first manager he has really trusted since Platt.

The catering is still very poor and the toilets at the City Ground smell of wee. There you go, plenty to complain about?

Maybe we had our 'bad patch' at the start of the season, and so its onwards and upwards all season for us ;D
