matt1982 said:i don't KNOW him. i dont have any view on him as a person, merely his way of interviewing, and his voice which i find a bit annoying. Anyway just getting views, thanks.
Dorset Red said:My view is it is a bit out of order to call a guy's topic choice or style pathetic when he is just asking a question. He stated it is his interviewing style and his voice that irritates not just his voice. Agreed if it had just been voice then he might have deserved chiding but he did not. Seems unfair and uneccesary to me.
Over the years plenty of commentators and pundits have attracted attention because of their style and voice, Murray Walker, Motson, Hill, Hamilton etc etc . There was no malice in the question and his opinion is as valid as ours.
Actually, he's my boyfriend and flatmate and I love him.Tnewton_1988 said:I spoke to him re Putting our names into the match programme saying we are appearing on Soccer Am he was very helpful and easy to talk to.
Baronvon said:He does a decent enough job I guess...never really been bothered to form an opinion on him. That said I once sat near him during a pre season friendly against Leeds and felt weirdly star struck.
Don't know why, I guess I'm insane or something.

He's also a thoroughly nice bloke despite being a Derby fan.
