Does anybody still not want promotion?

Even though ND said in one word - YES to the question whether he played a substatial role in recruiting Platt , it doesn't mean anything ?.

No, because it's a leading question. Asking him if HE played a substantial role? It's like asking a player if they 'played a substantial role' in a given match win. Of course they'd say yes...it's an ego-driven answer.

Indeed, most people, especially a business man, will take a potential opportunity to cover themselves in glory. Backfired a bit though...

We're certainly not heading back to League 1 any time soon.

This season has been a good one , though the last 11 years , there have been far more bad season than good ones.

How many years of torment and agony did we go through to get to this point now ? Job is not done BY FAR regardless of whether we get promoted or not. ND needs to step up more. Why is Newcastle & West Brom getting promoted , they have a bigger squad , they bought and loan when they needed to , we , on the other hand , make do.

now is the perfect time to get promoted, as so many teams are in financial trouble, and with a contraction in spending by most clubs we would with sensible purchases have a chance of staying up, and if we did nt, we wont have bankrupted the club

.

You get £30M for finishing bottom of the prem, £31M next to bottom etc. We've had an amazing season to be certain of the play-offs with 3 or 4 games to go.

I cannot thank ND enough for signing Billy.

As has been said, I will be happy with this season, no matter what the outcome.

However, being somewhat of a relegation veteran these days, we MUST start brightly next season if we go up. There is nothing as depressing as starting slowly, never recovering and, well, doing a Derby.

Being tonked every week is no fun at all, no matter what division you are in!

if we go up it will do wonders for the finances
it is what we deserve this season
i really don't want cardiff to go up due to their finances, or leicester due to it being leicester
i want to go up since losing playoff teams historically dont do as well next season...
2008/09 (sheff utd 10th, reading 9th, preston 14th)
2007/08 (bristol c 10th, crystal palace 15th, watford 13th)
2006/07 (west brom 1st, wolves 7th, southampton 20th)
2005/06 (preston 7th, leeds 24th, crystal palace 12th)
2004/05 (ipswich 15th, derby 20th, preston 4th)

so out of the past 5 seasons only one club has got automatic out of 15 and only one other has made a play off place.

we're clearly not really ready
i don't want to lose every week
i don't think i'll be able to go as often
i quite like championship level football actually. i know that is a sucky opinion, but i think clubs down here a lot more genuine and i dread become a stale midtable prem side who just fears relegation
