Do a good deed day....next 3 Saturdays (Forest related honest!)

Something that i try to do every match day is do a good deed for someone or something in the hope that Karma will kick in and we will ultimately get the result required that day.

It all started several years ago at Ipswich away going in to the ground a charity worker was after any change so i decided to give about 50p in silver and coppers that i had left (think it was for a cancer charity) and hey presto we won...even John Thompson scored!!!

As a result i now i try to do something good on all match days past examples have included giving someone a lift, donating to charity, helping out a neighbour, seeing someone drop something and telling them all simple things really. On Saturday i think i bought my dad a pint (nothing amazing i know but considering how many pints he's bought me it is).

Anyway i invite you all to give it a go????

Actually it's next 2 Saturdays and last Sunday

;D ::) :cuddle:  :yippeeee: :1st: :smug:

We should promote this idea to the club...next season our shirt sponsor could be the Big Issue, but instead of them paying us for Sponsorship, we pay them. We could also let tramps sleep in the Capital One corner when the stadium isn't in use as part of the package.

Don't they do that on matchdays anyway?

So several years ago in the Championship you started doing good deeds in the hope of karmic reproduction on the pitch... didn't do a fat lot of good, the last several years have been awful.

I reckon you should start kicking kittens each matchday!

"ohh look at those rat infested tramps sitting in the capital one corner, OH MY GOD there even singing at a football match disgusting" stop stereotyping just because they try to get behind the team.

I'm wearing trainers I haven't worn since the Promotion Day on Saturday.

I'm really desperate.

In fairness, I do have a lucky turnstile, although that was mainly because it was nice to have a chat with the dude operating it - he's since retired, so I might switch and see what happens.

Was that the 4-3 game in the play-off season? That was a great game

Me too, and I always touch the lights with a double tap, then proceed through the turnstile turn right and go for a piss prior to setting my countdown timer prior to the customary official knobber blowing his whistle .

I think we all do ridiculous things like this, despite brashly rejecting the concept on every other day of the week ;D

I found my Manchester City ticket on the floor before the Bristol City game and planted it into my back pocket, where it had been on the day of the City game.

I had previously found said ticket in my car on the way to the Reading game and stuffed it into my back pocket so that I'd remember it.

Earlier still it had been in my wallet, in my back pocket, prior to the Norwich game.

Needless to say, the Manchester City ticket will be in my back pocket on Saturday 8)

Im not supersticious by any stretch of the imagination. However I do believe in what goes around comes around, only if you aren't doing the deed in the thought that it will bring some benfit to you.

So I recommend when you do these good deeds do not think of getting any sort of reward from it, but if you do think of the reward be sure to convince yourself your not do it for any reward. But we know deep down it was for 3 points.

There's normally some grey haired chap on the front row of Capital One corner who looks a bit lost...

Look, all we really need is me not to bet on Forest, then we'll win. f*** karma, Sod's Law.

Never ever bet on your own team. First rule of gambling.

Well maybe the second rule after 'Don't borrow the money to gamble.'

I would post a reply here, but I'm rounding up kittens in order to give the smug little bastards a good kicking later.
