Diop Tehuti Djed-Hotep Spence

I think he's better than Aina and Neco, and like both of them can play both sides as well, and possibly further forwards, which increases our options in a 25 player squad.

If the price was right I'd definitely think it would be a good move. Spurs are presumably still a bit of a mess and RDZ is going to take a while to settle it if he is actually even going to but he's not let them down (once he'd got out of being loaned out all the time).

Cheeky swoop for Djed, Bergvall and Gray with lets say 40m combined would be a good deal...
He’s got an argument with this years Aina but Williams is streets ahead of him. He’s also still really not very good defensively.

He's quick so teams won't want to overcommit as he can recover position quicker than most players. Looking at him in a Spurs side who can't defend is probably going to bias it as him not looking as good as he could do in a more settled side.

It's unlikely he will be in direct competition with Neco because Neco will be playing LB but Spence and Aina could cover for him if needed.

They're probably all about the same really which would be good in terms of options, if we wanted to play more wingbacks than full backs, for example, and because he's quick he'd be another option to stretch defences similar to when we had Elanga.

If we're looking at a player who probably won't cost a lot but would still offer a lot of resale potential then those 3 would all be good options

To be fair, I think if we actually went in for him he would choose to come here and he'd smash it because he knows our fans would big him up.
Can play on the left or the right which is handy.

I can't see him getting along with De Zerbi, at all lmao

I can’t see him getting along with anyone for an extended length of time.

Will always love Spence for the promotion season. He was undeniably brilliant - almost seemed like a cheat player at times, he was that good.

Obviously parted ways when his loan came to an end and, when the big teams came knocking, it was inevitable he wasn't coming back here.

Mixed feelings whether I'd want him back. No doubting his talent and ability, but it'd hurt if he came back and it didn't work out.

Sometimes it's best to not go back.

I'd take Brennan, Elanga, and Spence back in a nanosecond.

None of these lads fit other cubs like they do Forest. Spence might be a bit of a stretch in that regard, but he was a perfect fit for the one season.
