Deserved Apathy !!

Well I see the Reserve game on Tuesday evening was watched by a pathetic 265 people !!

This is undoubtedly due to the apathy with which the Club is treating the fans with a stoney silence. Let this be a message to you Forest "Treat us like fools and you can expect the same in return".

Do you think our fan base consists of 21000 peeps with an average IQ of 15........??

It's not just the manager you need to back or sack........the fans too will desert unless the ambition we wish for is realised by those in power........talk to us, communicate with us, listen, explain and where you can ACT ! If you don't do this you will get nothing in return from either the manager, players OR fans.

If we were top of the premiership there wouldn't be many more than 265 people at a reserve game.

Oh Dear.......head in the sand response from Stratty :>(

There's a bit more to it than that mate....besides the rezzies averaged many many more than that the last time we ran one and we had less people at 1st Team games......there's a message there mate trust me.

The last time we ran a reserve team 2 years ago, when we twatted everybody we came across, I attended a few games that year and of the games I went to I am confident of saying that 250 was about average. Give or take 100 depending on kick-off times...etc

You can read something into nothing if you like but this isn't a "message" that Forest will even notice.

Oh no. Only 250 at a reserves game? Clearly we'll see similar numbers against Milwall. Shame on you Forest. Time to trash the club shop in anger? I think it's time. :frantic:

Maybe if they publicised it a bit more on the official site more people would turn up.

I think it's free admission. Reserve games are generally such dull, low key affairs from my experience that it's little wonder people don't really bother showing up for them.

Glen and his whole family are always there.

So we are now getting less people paying nothing to watch the ressies but more people paying to watch the first team?

The powers that be must be REALLY worried about that :D:D:D

yeh I always went to reserve matches until we didnt sign anyone then decided in protest I wouldnt go...............NOT

Are you the real Ian Storey Moore?

When Ian Moore scores a goal, you can shove your Hector up your hole, and we'll all go mad when Derby go down again :)

Does Ian Storey Moore know the Leeds score, or whether Peter Whittingham has signed?

I've been to 1 reserve game in 34 years of watching Forest. It was extremely dull (some time in 1980, I forget the opposiiton).

The reserve games I have been to in the past, have always filled a nights entertainment, when you consider they are about younger/squad players development/fitness ? rather than results orientated.

I know the last reserve game, a group of forum members made a nice night out of it.........watched the game together and I think enjoyed a pint. What more do you want on Tuesday night, but last time I tried to join them, they all made me play hide and seek, I never did find them...what does that say about the amount of places to hide during a reserve game, astonishing. I hope they ask me again, with me not ''On'' this time !!
