Derby ticket allocation!

Slightly pee'd off to see that we have allocated derby over 3000 tickets for the league match! When we played at their place they only gave us just over 1000!

Why is this?

My thoughts are that the chairman doesn't believe we can sell 27-28000 tickets and is relying on their tickets to sell the game out.

TOTALLY AGREE
You beat me to posting this by a minute mate!
WHY
We need as many forest fans in the ground
and then we go and give them more than we need to.....
b****y stupid, another f**k up,,, even if the police made us leave rest of lower bridgeford empty better than ahveing more sheep in there!

To clear this up we were given 2700, they have 3800

Why?

were ment to be the home side and as you say they dont think that we will sell out of our allocation.

We need to build some temporary stanchions in front of their fans to help them to think of the old baseball ground and pee them off a bit. The structure could be rolled down from the Bridgford 'balcony'.

The cheeky little bastards have been given an extra 500 tickets making tere total allocation to 4,200.

Isnt it better to give tickets to genuine fans who want to watch the game instead of our part timers who come
out of the woodwork for the big games.

we want as many as possible.. if i was forest , ild give them the same they gave us in the league just to piss on thier fire, also have forest fans lower bridgeford next to the away fans, but that will never happen ;D :D

To be honest I think its a policing matter. I'd imagine the police won't allow both set of fans to be in the same stand and Forest would rather have 4200 paying 30 quid rather than just 2500. I seem to remember a few years ago when we played Derby we only gave em 2500-3000 and the rest of the lower bridgford sat empty. Its certainly not because we can't sell out. If we can sell out for the cup game on a cold wednesday night when the game is all tickets and no season tickets then we can easily sell out the ground for the Derby game on a saturday afternoon.

Exactly as for the policing.... then to be honest id rather leave it empty than have 2000 more sheep in there. Stuff the revenue.

I'm sure I posted in this thread, but it must have got lost when the server was updated!

I said something along the lines of "If we didn't give them the whole lower bridgford, we'd have loads of empty seats because there's no way Forest fans would be put down there as well."

I'd rather Derby filled it than leave 1000 empty seats.

Correct. They should be given the lower bridgeford. Trying to reduce their allocation is just childish nonsense - why should we stoop to their level?

Yeah. Shame you didn't get a replay against Man Utd so you could have sold their ground out too. Didn't you take a record away crowd to Old Trafford the other week? Or did you fall embarrassingly short of Coventry's record by 3k despite it being a league cup Semi final 2nd leg that you were leading :D :D :D :D :D :D

In fact didn't Burton Albion take only 2k less than you to Old Trafford :D :D :D :D :D :D

Maybe if you'd played at Old Trafford again and joined both away attendances together you might have beat the record.
