I can't help thinking he's overvalued at £1M. Who had heard anything of him until we were linked with him? He's certainly not a player that has stood out for me as one of the Championship's better CBs.
Unless he's better than what we've got I wouldn't want us to sign him. Is he better than Wes, Chambers and Wilson? Only time will tell I guess.

For one thing Barker did that is above our defenders capabilities , He dominated and bullied hulse in their match hence why Nigel got interested in Barker in the first place whereas our defence practically give Hulse the run of the place because none of our defenders could cope with him.

GET A GRIP people. For a start nowhere has said Barker will sign for anyone so pack that in until it's official.
Next, in his interviews he states how the club are working around the clock. Stay calm and 'don't panic'. 4 signings in a week kept us happy, suddenly everyone's miserable. Don't forget this 'shit' defence kept a clean sheet against a champions league side. Billy has them looking more solid allready so stop whining like a bunch or girls, man up and wait and see !
